Rain has a new endorser, a new birthday scrapbook, a new title, a new movie interview, and an appearance at a music festival coming up. And all of that news broke in just the past day. Hold on to your hats. We’re into a new week. You know the Hoonie—no telling what else is coming.
Don’t forget that this Saturday, the 25th, is JiHoon’s birthday (as if you could forget, right? Haha). Say a special prayer for him that day and double up on the good vibes to him every day. He’s working so hard. He needs all the mental strength from his worldwide fan base that he can get.

Ok guys, I’ll be gone until wednesday nite for color guard camp. I’ll try and find a wifi source so I don’t get too lonely but if not I’ll see you guys wednesday nite!
& don’t worry about me too much. I LOVE camp! It was excellent last year. There wasn’t a moment that I could even think of that was bad for me & I’m so looking forward to this year.

Sorry BiA I was sleep, I trending both times and stayed up all night so I wouldn’t miss it. however I did see Stephe’s post this morning and I love the thought of these two working together. On looks alone GOOD GOD!! and Tyrese seems like a pretty cool brother cause I would only want JiHoon to work with someone that respects him. 🙂

these two pics are really amazing. to tell u the truth Rain worked so hard physically for this film during his training, i felt myself feeling sorry for him while i watched this dvd.
gawd, such determination and will to do it right. i stopped the dvd at one time and went back to it later. it just aroused some unexpected emotions in me while watching it. especially at the part when he pleaded for a break dropping to his knees with his head down, hair covering his face and breathing so heavily (that was a touching sight for me). i believe that was the determining factor for fans being determined that he won that BAD ASS award. IT WAS HIS THE MINUTE MTV added that category to their list. yes, i believe all ours minds will be in Seoul and on Rain/ JiHoon on June 25th. never seen or known a man to look soooooo goooood, even while he’s dead focused on his work. props to him.

I totally agree with you, busy. That one documentary there is of him while filming NA (forget the title of the docu), where you can see that he’s soooo lonely and working his arse off… that just made me tear up. You could tell he wanted to do such a good job but the excersice, lack of good food and people that spoke his language was killing him. I have to say, that documentary cemented my liking for him, because not many people would do all that with so much gumption and gusto.

If you’re talking about the MBC thing, “Rain: He’s Coming,” good heavens, I was definitely tearing up during that docu. I was floored by his unwavering determination and his exhaustion. Just floored.
And he made me grin until my face almost cracked when he showed us his name in the number one spot on the filming call sheet. “Raizo. Rain.” He was grinning himself like a mofo, that early in the morning. Despite his utter loneliness, he was delighted beyond words, like a little kid who couldn’t believe what he was looking at. Such a precious moment and I’ll never forget it.

I’ll tell you this, ain’t no way in hell I’d eat raw fish and eggs everyday…..every single day for months….no way. I’d be like “look Mr. Trainer Man now we got to get a dietician up in this mug and get me a meal plan with some V A R I E T Y……Okie Doke.” The whole time I’m watching that Docu, I’m thinking now did they tell you to eat ONLY that or did you just decide to “suffer” for your art? I can see eating a lean diet, but you gotta give me some more choices……….(SMILES)

He probably had to eat that only to make sure he was as lean as possible. Those are really good sources of protein and they wanted him to lose weight/gain muscle as quickly as possible/probably have no water weight to hide the muscle. When body builders prepare to be in competition, they eat “clean” meaning no carbs so they flush their system of water so the cuts show up more. Otherwise they’ll eat stuff like plain chicken, oatmeal made w/ just water, nothing in it, etc. Very blah and boring. Probably if they’d had more time to get Rain in that level of shape, he might have been able to eat other things.
I used to work out a lot and used to read those types of magazines, so I know a bit about it. I was never able to eat “clean” like that because there’s just no way! I like to eat. I did eat a very low carb diet, where I mostly ate meat and salad, with like a half of a roll or a half of a slice of bread. This was so I wouldn’t go crazy and run amok looking for bread to stuff my face with, because I love me some bread, my friends! Also, it’s super expensive to eat like that.

I work out also, so I’ll say I know a little sumptin’ sumptin’ too. I used to do it more consistently when I was younger though. I just wondered if it was Bi’s choice more so, as opposed to a “mandated” regimen. (SMILES)

Oh BTW, I’m a “bread Ho” myself…….so I feel your pain too and being short just means I’m ALWAYS just a biscuit away from disaster! Well, I’m not really that bad, but the older I get I really have to Tell myself to go do it. Heck, it used to be fun, now it’s a chore……………………..

Lol I didn’t mean my comment to come off condescending! Whoops on that, if that’s how it seemed. I just meant to say that I used to read about that sort of thing a lot, and halfway practice it. I think they said in the docu that he had to eat that. I could be wrong though, as it’s been awhile since I saw it.
I know about a being a biscuit away from disaster! Sadly I’m out of shape… I never let myself get past an 8 or 10 but it would be nice to be a muscular size 8 again. Hopefully when I get over this damned being tired all the time from being so anemic! Sigghhh…

It seems that mexican Clouds are gonna be very happy on Rain’s birthday cuz I saw a twit of Fer, the conductor of TopTen saying that they are going to include a video of a korean solo performer who’s birthday is this weekend!! Yey!!!! Please mexican clouds put a video link so we can enjoy it too!!! 😀
