Revisiting 2008: Rain makes a comeback with “Rainism.”

Some of you were here from the start of last April to the end of May 2010, when Rain’s mini-album Back To The Basic dropped and he hit all the music chart shows—what we call the comeback trail—with “Love Song” and “Hip Song.” But many of you weren’t around to see the comeback trail that came before that, when “Rainism” dropped and Rain hit the ground running with it. Please enjoy these, a few of his music chart show performances from that period, when Ninja Assassin was in post-production (yes, the fans were stoked and he had his share of wins).
I was really craving our Magic Feet and his Magic Stick… and this did the trick. It usually does. 😉

Thanks for posting these videos!!! Rainism is one of my fave songs of Rain. The choreography is awesome and to this day I can’t believe how he manage to do such a complicated combination of steps in a few seconds. His ability as a dancer is beyond fantastic. When I saw the video the first time I thought it was amazing, very creative and out of this world!! Love the mix of electronic sounds and no matter how much I listened to it, I never get tired. Can’t say the same about other songs by other performers.

And it was his first project without JYP, and it succeeded! He proved he could be just as creative on his own. Soooo proud of Baby Boy. 😀

I do have a question though… and I love Rain but oh man…
Is he the one that responsible for starting the whole wiping-your-lip Kpop boy band phenomena??
If I see another 16-22 yr old boy do that again, I might run screaming off into the night. Gahhhh!!!!! 🙂

LOL! I do believe he is, Diva, just like he was the very first idol to rip his shirt off during a performance. Everything they’re doing now, he did first with his creative, naughty, innocent-looking, envelope-pushing self.

Lol I’m sure. I was watching the Rainism vids and I had an AHa! moment. It’s sexy when he does it here… Not so sexy when angelic looking boys are doing it in every video.

Ok Not saying anything about the MAGIC STICK! HAHAHAHAHAHA But I remember the first time seeing the actual video cause that you just can’t see without flash.(cell phone) I watched it several times cause I had already loved the song but the video is AWESOME! And I had fun finding and seeing all the Wonderful Rain videos. I saved links. 😀
