Please enjoy this, part of Rain’s performance at the Mid-Autumn Festival in China (Beijing, I believe?), way back on September 25, 2007. It was a little rough, as most live performances are when it comes to sound, timing, etc., but I certainly enjoyed watching it—he was adorable and the audience was crazy about him. At the time, Speed Racer had wrapped and he was waiting on the movie’s premiere, and he had a concert stop in his world tour coming up right there in China in October.
(Believe it or not, there were some fans on KPop blogs out there who complained because they considered him chubby and fat in this performance. Even though he was still the same size as his character, professional race car driver Taejo Togokhan. O_o?? If you think Rain is overweight here, you’ve either fallen and slammed your head on some concrete, or you’ve been smoking crystal meth. Get some help.)

Where the heck was Rain fat? I did not see any fat on his body. Rain looked very fit and hot to me. I think some people have a very unrelistic thinking of the size everybody should be. I feel because Rain is tall and his body frame he looks hot with some weigh on his bones. Everybody is built differently and a size 2 does not look right on thier body frame.

The hell?? What crack pipe were they smoking?? Lol… I mean… I agree with Bia… we all can see that many Koreans are smaller and they put lots of pressure on their idols to lose weight. Every five seconds I see some sort of article on one of the Kpop sites about how so-and-so is losing weight for their comeback or they need to lose weight or have lost weight. Meanwhile they look like a size 0 or like they’re about to fall out from lack of nutrients.
We’ve all seen Bi looking too thin. I can point out when he was on Golden Fishery a few yrs ago after NA, looking like a totally different person. However, I have never seen him look fat.

Well I saw this video from beginning to end and I saw NO fat parts anywhere on Rain…..lol.

You know I guess in the Asian culture anybody bigger than a size 2 is fat. Well newsflash Asia, the rest of the world is bigger than a size 2 (Hollywood doesn’t count….I’m talking the REAL world). As far as Bi is concerned, I would guess his weight fluctuates (like everybody else’s) between 175-185 maybe. I know nothing, I’m only going by his height and also factoring in weight gain or loss for movie roles. Hubbie’s over 6 feet and his weight fluctuates between 185-190 depending on his workout routine, but looking at him you would think he weighed less. As they say muscle weighs more than fat. I’m sure it’s the same with Rain. It’s definitely a cultural thing, Asians no the deal they have TV and the internet….they know what other people look like. THEY are just smaller than most other cultures and think everybody in their culture should be small.

Gawd, I am a little worried with this “fat issue” with Rain. Plzz let the guy some breathing space!!! He just finished a tour, he is filming a movie, possibly doing his new album and he is going to MS in a few months so he have to eat to keep up with everything!!! Also, God only knows what’s he is gonna eat when he enters MS. Probably lots of rations and military food. Gahh!! Let’s face it, Rain is used to eat really well so let him enjoy his
good eats while he can, ok. Gezz, if some day by a miracle I get to go to Korea, they are gonna think that a baby elephant just go out of the airplane cuz I am a big lady!! Lol!!! 😀
