To be honest I still do not understand what they mean when they say a person like Rain does not have double eyelids. Do they mean he does not show his eyelids on both eyses? Therefore he does not have double eyelides. Because we all have one eyelid per eye. Can someone please explain this saying to me?

Also, to me it does not matter because Rain is fine as all get out.

  It is a HUGE deal across Asia and the entertainment industry over there has only made the problem worse over the years, because they’ve tried to insist on it. They want everyone to have “Western” beauty. Well, Rain has helped changed that a lot by making “Eastern” beauty very popular in the Americas and Europe.
  
  Asian celebs can’t help but talk about it because it has been all but pounded into their heads every second of the day by the industry (and from the time they were children). Poor things.

  - Yeah, I’ve seen documentaries on Asian eyelid surgery before and I want to say that I’ve seen somewhere that some Asian women would have surgery to lengthen their legs as well. Very disturbing.
    
    “Western” beauty ideals have “effed up” a lot of ethnic cultures that are ALREADY beautiful in their own right. (My Opinion)

What the hell kinda comment is that? I think guys with single eyelids are “aiiight” (basically)……(SMILES). So it’s OK if the crowd screams for him and his single eyelids. (SMH)

Double eyelids, single eyelids…..what if he had NO eyelids, then what. Can you say Backhanded Compliment! (SMILES)

- Yeah that was a weird compliment. I read somewhere that in Asia double eyelids are something that people aspire to have…or something along those lines. However it seems strange to me that someone would point out the whole eyelid thing on tv. Personally I don’t see the big deal, just my two cents.

Dang…Rain fans are a special breed, they can bend metal fences. Of course our baby stole the show, he looked so darn handsome in that suit.
