I agree, Jodie. Many of us can’t travel that far from home due to work, family obligations or money issues. And in order to make a name for himself, he really does need to appear on more but smaller stages everywhere. I think if he appeared in enough smaller venues across the country (I’m thinking concert halls that hold 3000 to 5000, as opposed to 20,000), he could do quite well. then again, the cost of his putting on a tour is so high that I’m not sure it would be cost effective for him to come over here and do only smaller venues. Maybe he could do a combination? Larger venues in big cities and smaller venues in smaller ones?
Ah well. Just thinking out loud. Maybe someday…sigh again.
