About 4 years ago, actor ‘Yun Kye Sahng’, Rain, and I were vacationing at Chungpyung resort at that time when Rain came back home after wrapping his movie Ninja Assassin.
On our way back home after our vacation, we found a woman lying unconscious on the shoulder of the highway while a man who seemed like her husband was pulling over. This made her husband so embarrassed that he just stood there without knowing what to do. We later found out she had diabetes.
We instantly stopped on the hard shoulder and called an ambulance in that confusing situation.
While we were waiting for the emergency crew, Rain protected the patient against obstruction of the airway, splashing her hair with mineral water, and then shouted at passing cars and stopped cars to ask the drivers for some chocolates. Rain knew that chocolate can be necessary for some diabetics in an emergency.
While we were helping Rain figure out the quick fix, she was roused from the swoon, and then ambulance arrived and brought her to the hospital.
I wanted to describe to people how circumstances were at that time, how Rain did such a good thing for the patient and showed us what to do in case of an emergency, albeit belated.

What is also so endearing about this is he tries to downplay what good deeds he does to the public, we hear about it through others..how many Of American celebs will do that

I read this earlier and thought, “Of course!” but I was in a hurry and totally didn’t think of his mom. Now I’m like “Of course!” x 100 and thinking how he must’ve been so sad inside with thoughts about his mom. Awww….

She was probably going into a diabetic coma and since his mother had diabetes he knew exactly what to do. My family has been plagued by every disease known to man, Seems Like and diabetes was one too. Great Job Ji-Hoon!!

yes he does i remeber that too this was very touch me so much he knew what to do when he see a women got sick gosh i very envy his heart and felt of need to treat of her ofcurse of what happen to his mother death rain learn something that he never forget in his hole life what touch me more that
rain care for them and just TOUCHING u when u see it own your own eye what he say about very so true my heart very does goes out to rain and he sure how it feel i bet he see this it refresh his mother how it was happen to him too.. and rain very assure what around his mother so happy what her son very took this action to learn and what need to be dome and safe it.. rain is very devoted person not just his fan , clouds but his own lover care of his mother seeing the sulition in front him he do what to get her this recover uhhhh touch me rain so my BIG HEART go to him seriously heart

I’m glad to hear that Rain’s instincts were kept intact under the circumstances. He did what he had to do. He was probably reminded of his late mother and he can relate to these incidents so well. He could be thinking of his mom when this was happening… my heart went out to him, his bravery and kindness of heart overtook this actual incident that happened. Very compassionate and responsible person. He did a very unselfish act. If his mother were alive, she’d be so proud of her son…

I was thinking about his mother reading this and how his heart must have been racing. Also the fact he stopped it shows what a wonderful person he is. But I have to say I wouldn’t expect any less from JiHoon, he is a great guy.

Stephe I was thinking the same thing that he knew what to do because he use to do this for his mother when she was sick. Man his act of kindness is just amazing.
