The post is correct when it calls them both two of the most talented men on the TIME list. There is a glitch where it says Rain has won the TIME poll three years in a row, however… He won it in 2007, 2011, and many sources say he won it in 2006. Regardless, we do like, like, like Hollywood Life’s enthusiastic support of Rain in this write-up.

Justin Bieber V. Rain — Who Is Your Favorite ‘TIME’ 100 Pop Star?
The two biggest international music acts both landed on the esteemed list, but which pop phenom is your favorite?
The highly anticipated TIME 100 list has finally been released, and two of the youngest, and no doubt most talented, men on the list are both international pop stars — Justin Bieber and Rain! 17-year-old Justin has had quite a year, and it’s only April! He released his 3-D movie Never Say Never to major box office bucks, is in the middle of an international tour and went public with his much discussed relationship with Selena Gomez. We wonder what else he has in store for the year!
Rain, 28, has also had a crazy year. For the third year in a row [no, not in a row ^@@^] Rain won the voter poll for the TIME list, beating out Lady Gaga and even President Obama! Rain also snagged an MTV Movie Award for his role in Ninja Assassin and remains one of the most beloved actors and singers in South Korea.
So HollywoodLifers, we want to know — who is your favorite TIME 100 pop star?

Rain for sure 100%!!!! I went to the site and voted. The results were Rain+92.89% and Justin=7.11%.
I do feel that Justin is talented. I even like some of his songs alot. However, I do not understand all the hoopla over him right now. Maybe after he has been in the game a while I will understand it. But like I said I do think he is talented. Sorry not trying to offend any fans.

ROFL!!!!!!!! Man, I would loooove to see the faces of all magazine directors if they see those numbers!!! They are gonna said, “Geezz, we have being dedicating all our front pages for the last seven months to Beaber and we got the wrong guy!!!” They HAVE TO BE as fed up with the Beaber as we are, common, there is not much you can tell about a seventeen years old boy for almost a year!!! But Rain, gosh, there is a story to tell!!!

Gawd, looking at those picts of Beaber and Rain together it hit me that they look almost identical; the outfit, hair and the way they looked at the camera but the thing is that they also look almost the same age!! Rain is eleven years older but looks like he is maybe three or four years older. Lol!!!!

Okay Ladies on first glance there is NO contest Jung Ji Hoon “Rain” all the way baby!!!
BUT!!! That being said.
As Justin Bieber is a fellow Canadian a fellow Ontarian and as a matter of fact his family live less than an hour away from me I gotta defend Beeb’s just a little.
Though the comparison is not Apples to Apples, Justin in no way had as tough a life as Ji Hoon BUT yah gotta give the kid a little credit. He’s got Talent and he’s worked like a dog to get where he is. You just have to watch the documentry about him (I haven’t myself but everyone I know that has is amazed by how far he’s come). AND in fact he’s done it faster than our dear Ji Hoon.
So in fact Beeb’s and JiHoon do have a lot in common and yah know what give the kid 10 years and he might be as hot as Rain. I say for me in regards to accomplishments they are tied. Talent … well JiHoon has the Acting as a bonous on his side and the Dancing too. Justin can dance but I don’t think he has the natural talent JiHoon has. In the end Jung Ji Hoon wins but yah gotta give some “props” to Justin he is on his way.

The one song I like from Bieber is Never say never. I gotta give him that his voice is good and also that he plays piano and maybe other instruments, I don’t know. Maybe if his publicity team, that’s extraordinary, haven’t stuffed me with the guy in the last seven months or so, I could bring myself to hear his CD but right now, I can’t stand him. Rain should contract Beaber’s publicity team. Really, he would be known even under the rocks in a matter of days.
