Oh my heavens! Team Lotus, formerly Lotus Racing, is the team that Heikki Korvalanein and Luiz Razia race on! OMG!
Rain visited their garage before the start of the race, and Team Lotus themselves tweeted their picture of it about six hours ago… wow. *incredulous* Is that the coolest thing or what? In this picture, team sponsor Tony Fernandes (of Malaysia) is the man on the end to our left, and I do believe that’s team deputy chief SM Nasarudin is on the end to our right.
Two of the ladies appear to be wearing outfits that are “AirAsia red” so perhaps they are there to represent AirAsia (who has partnered with Team Lotus in a driver development program). I wonder if Rain dropped in on anyone else? He looked a bit in relaxation mode (always a good thing). Or it could have just been a sponsor thing, you know how it goes.
