As you all recall, this time last year we were doing double-duty—not only fighting the good fight (against hackers and others of their ridiculous ilk) at TIME, but also helping blaze a path for Rain through the 2010 MTV Movie Award nomination stage, which ended in him bagging the Biggest Badass statuette in June (his hard work and our hard work duly rewarded!).
This year, however, the Movie Awards aren’t a factor. (Boy, if he’d been in The Expendables… we’d have him IN THERE LIKE FLYNN for Badass again. You know this.) We can all give TIME our undivided attention instead of spreading ourselves so thin. Sounds good to us! Let’s do it.
» Rain’s 2011 TIME 100 Poll voting page is HERE.
Voting closes on April 14, and the winner of this online Poll will be included in TIME Magazine’s own personal list of the world’s most influential 100 (published in a special issue). Clouds are already over there, en masse, so go jump on the Rain Train. 🙂
—
For the naysayers who insist on rolling their eyes out there, we don’t feel that Rain should be on the list merely because he’s talented and hot and sexy and we like him. That’s rather shallow. Rain’s actual influence on and his contributions to his fellow man in many countries are what compel us to back him up when it comes to something like the TIME 100. Within just the past year, he:

• Was named the Chinese and South Korean Youth Ambassador for Green Environmental Protection in Beijing, capital of China, and recorded and released “珍愛” (Treasure), the promotional song in connection with his green ambassadorship, to bring awareness to the problem of desertification.
• Received the prestigious World Star Award at the 2011 2nd Korea Seoul Art & Culture Awards.
• Was voted the most influential star in South Korea for two years running by foremost experts on administration, education, the press, law, enterprise, government, financing, entertainment, social organization, and religion in that country, as reported in the Sisa Journal in August.
• Recieved three 2010 Green Planet Movie Awards in Los Angeles for: Best International Entertainer (Asia), Asian Cultural Ambassador of The Year, One of The Top 10 Most Outstanding Asians in Hollywood.
• Was named Honorary Ambassador of South Korea’s Green Growth vision, along with actress Lee Da-Hye.
• Was given the Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism award by KOCCA (Korea Culture and Content Agency) for contributing to the development of domestic cultural events.
• Has participated in charitable causes across the world (Haiti, Japan, China, etc.) and at home (example: The 3rd annual Green Ribbon Hope Walking Campaign, to raise funds for the prevention of and finding missing children), not to mention motivating his worldwide fan base to follow his lead and raise and donate thousands and thousands of dollars to disaster victims and the less fortunate everywhere.
And this is only the tip of it all. There isn’t enough room here to tell you of the things he’s done to help individuals who simply found themselves in the worst of personal situations.
Jung JiHoon is more than a South Korean mega-entertainer/world star. He is a human being who not only cares about the plight of others, but puts his time and money where his mouth is in an attempt to make things better, even with a work schedule that would kill a normal man. Always. Year after year.
If that isn’t influencing the world, we don’t know what is.

Time’s 100 most influential people
Over at TIME.com, you can vote for who you think should be included among TIME’s 100 most influential people in the world. The winner of the online poll will be included in the TIME 100. Voting closes on April 14.
Right now, the following world figures are in the lead:
Rain: This South Korean sensation has been making waves in his native country for years, but his catchy beats and hot dance moves have made his popularity soar internationally. Who can forget that dance-off with Stephen Colbert, or his parts in the movies Speed Racer and Ninja Assassin?
Fukushima Power Plant Workers: Since a 9.0-magnitude earthquake struck off the east coast of Japan on March 11, the world has lauded Japanese citizens for their stalwart demeanor in the face of an unprecedented triptych of deadly disasters. But few have inspired more respect than the workers at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.
Mohamed Bouazizi: Bouazizi was literally the spark that set off the revolutions of the Arab Spring. The sole support for his mother and his seven siblings, he was humiliated and abused by a policewoman in the Tunisian town of Sidi Bouzid. She confiscated the fruit and vegetable cart with which he made his living. Bouazizi set himself on fire in front of the local government building. Fatally burned, he lingered for more than two weeks even as immense popular anger grew around Tunisia, fed by Facebook and other social media. When Bouazizi died, the authoritarian government of President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali would find itself with just 10 days to survive as the first of the revolutions to convulse the region sent the dictator fleeing.

My sister you had the life I dreamed of having, good for you sister. it does my heart good to know that, cause I would never wish anyone bad, and I also applaud you for thanking the workers and agree we are all on the same playing field of life regardless of your station in life. The smallest gesture can bring the best of responses. Just one other note JiHoon mentioned when he was starving once drinking some tea and eating the tea leaves and it actually being a roach hahahaha yeah well thats happen to me and I also woke o up one morning sick to my stomach and then up chucked a roach that was still alive. Thank GOD! I don’t live that way anymore.

Lotus,
Thank GOD indeed! My upbringing I do thank God for, but if I’m honest it can make one “a little lazy” (one being Me). Those who have need to change their life’s station out of unfortunate/dire circumstances develop “Drive” like a Motherf__ker!! I envy that Drive sometimes. My upbringing is not necessarily conducive to having that type of drive. However, before someone says..”Oh HELL No you Didn’t say that”, I know drive/determination/”GUTS” is strictly an Individual Thing NO MATTER one’s station. Some people are just naturally driven, I get that too. Also, about thanking the workers, I just want you to know it’s Not Just about gestures. It’s INGRAINED in me, because it’s how I was raised. (SMILES) Ya know…..be good toward others not out of necessity, do it because it’s the right thing to do.

I know exactly what you mean about drive vs. that sort of upbringing. II can attest to the fact that having things done for you for 1/3 of your life leads to a nasty shock when you stop having those things done for you… lol. I’m still not a fan of things like cleaning and cooking… sigh. But seriously, sometimes I wonder how things might have been if I’d been brought up a different way. Laziness FTW! hahaaa…

Cooking and cleaning…..tell me about it!! I’m not crazy about doing them either and I married a man who’s a “neat freak.” Most of the time he’s the one that mops the kitchen. I’m like You Go My Brotha, have at it….You are the MAN!! Like you, I have wondered what choices I would have made different many years ago if I had gone away to school as opposed to staying in town. Well, I’m trying to “shift gears” now and even though it can feel like “it’s too late” I don’t Really believe that. My only real regret is that I wasn’t “steered” toward what came naturally to me. Don’t get me wrong, I was ALWAYS supported and loved and cared for, but I was also raised like most people to try and get that good paying (STABLE) job. My Inner Being should have been doing something creative. I’m DEFINITELY NOT blaming anyone for ultimately the life choices I made, but I just wish I had “seen the path” toward what I feel comes natural more clearer when I was young enough to have made definite career choices.

I just wanted to post this because of the conversational trend. It’s not Rain but I just saw this and was shocked and appalled. This clearly shows the lengths fans will go to see/get into contact with an idol in Korea. This is a video of Jonghyun being stalked on his birthday, which was yesterday. Sadly enough, a lot of the comments on YT seem to veer towards the, “Oh they’re only following him… that’s not bad!” type of thing.
I mean, I realized people did some crazy stuff… but DAMN!

Now THAT qualifies as STRAIGHT UP C-R-A-Z-Y!! The ladies were talking before about the “Creep Factor”……well here ya go….and just plain weird to follow someone for that length of time. No rhyme or reason, just being stalkerazzis. In the U.S. somebody’s bodyguard would have damned near “body slammed” those girls after the first couple of steps. I know he wanted to turn around and say WTF!…BACK THE HELL OFF! I felt like saying it for him.
A lady was standing in my “personal space” in the check out line at Sam’s Club today and I started to tell her the same thing. I couldn’t imagine what Korean celebrities go through. Is it any wonder Bi wants to re-locate here after the army?…………..

Grrrllll, I so agree with you! I was watching this and had to pause it at around the 1:50 mark, when the girl first ran up and got up in his face. My mouth was open… for real. I was so shocked! I cannot imagine doing that to anyone, not even when I was their age. I loved me some Michael Jackson when I was 12 and Menudo and then graduated on to Duran Duran when I was 14-15 but I KNOW I would never have done that.
I distinctly remember one time when I was living in Panama. I think I was 13 and Menudo came to have a concert. I was with some friends and we happened to hear some other girls talking about the location of their hotel. We all went and hung out for awhile to see if they’d show up. There were other groups of girls there also. When Menudo finally showed up, I remember that they happened to walk by my friends and I and we just kinda stood there and looked at them in surprise. Afterwards we felt bad because they were headed for the elevator and would have gotten by unseen if we hadn’t made that “Holy sh_t!” face when we saw them. Unfortunately, because of that, the other girls jumped them. My friends and I eased on out of there after that, since we felt awful. I was 13 and I knew it was not cool to chase after them then… I never would have imagined walking directly behind someone for that long, and then running up on them to take a picture in their face!
There is a follow up video to this where they start walking RIGHT BEHIND him and next to him, asking him all kinds of questions until he finally gets a phone call (or pretends to) and kinda waves them off. He was smiling at the time but I’m sure he didn’t feel all that enthused by that point. I know I wouldn’t have. In the pictures from this incident, he’s smiling and I have to say, those idols are definitely wayyy nicer than me, or can fake nice wayyyyyy better than I can, that’s for sure… lol.

Someone please answer a question for me.
Why is everyone here allowed to share anything personal, purge anything that bugs them, give an opinion, tease somebody about their actions, disagree on a subject, have a bad day, or straight-out vent except for me and Terri? Why, when we do any of that, do folks get bent all out of shape and act like they can’t have a voice here or something? We can’t even open our mouths, and BOOM. It’s been this way for months.
Can anyone tell me what is up with that? I’m really confused.

I like that about this forum, we can talk, we can express our feelings and be ourselves and I feel that everyone have a space to disagree without beeing judged. I never thought you felt like you couldn’t express yourself. If I sounded too hard in any moment I am truly sorry cuz that’s was’n my intention at all.

Also confused. I myself have vented from time to time and expressed my opinion but I REALLY try my hardest to make sure that I word it in a non-offensive way, to the extent that a lot of times I find myself rereading and deleting things I’ve said. Hopefully I never came off as if I was holier than thou or knew better than anyone else. I enjoy that people on here mostly try to have adult conversations. I’ve seen some really insane arguments at other sites so this site is always a breath of fresh air. I also find myself agreeing w/ many of you many of the time. Often if I don’t agree I won’t even respond, though sometimes I feel compelled to respond.
Anyone that knows me in person knows that I am SUPER opinionated and sarcastic. I definitely try to tone that part of my personality down on here, as it can definitely be taken the wrong way.
I have also had some health issues recently that kind of put Rain on the back burner a bit so I’ve only not been as much of a presence in the comments until recently. I’m not mentioning that to garner solicitious comments, just stating my current dealio and wondering what I might have missed.

To anyone who can clarrify this for me:
@Terri thanks for replying. I came to the conclusion that Rain had won the the Time poll more than once from what I read from an article that was posted on here by @Stephe. The article was posted on 4-6-11, titled Time and Rain: A Love Story. I got the impression from both paragraphs that Rain has come in at the Time poll number 1 more than once since 2007. Which is why I am confused as to if he won the Time poll more than once why he was not included each time in the magazine for one of the 100 most influtial people.
Here is what I read:
“The Atlantic Wire 4/5/2011 — by Uri Friedman
Time and Rain: A Love Story
A day after Time launched its annual poll asking readers who should appear in the magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in 2011, the South Korean popstar Rain is dominating, with more than double the votes of the runner-up, Glee star Chris Colfer. It’s something of an annual tradition for his fans as Rain’s finished first or close to first nearly every year since 2007.”
and this part:
However, Time appears less concerned about Rain’s uncanny dominance of the magazine’s popularity contest. As Time’s staff writes in Rain’s 2011 profile, “His army of fans helped him stay on top of this poll last year; let’s see if there’s still enough love to keep him on top today.” And as anyone working on the web can tell you: page views are page views.

I would have to go back and look myself, because I wasn’t involved in Rain TIME voting stuff before last year, and before that I only paid attention really to year 2006 when he was included in the TIME 100 special issue (so see, there is a three-year gap in my brain from that). BUT I don’t think he’s won the poll since 2006, or he would have been in those issues instead of just that one. I think he’s been in second place or somewhere in the top four since 2007, ONLY.
If I run into any additional information as I go about my usual Cloud USA regimen during the day, I’ll update my comment.

Thanks for replying Stephe. Haven’t Rain won this poll in the past after 2006 more than one time but he has only been in the Time magazine once? I thought he won in 2006 and was included in the magazine. But he has not been included in it since even though he has won the poll more times again after 2006.

OK, I’ve been looking at the Comments section on the TIME 100 poll and I need to vent. Like really need to vent. You girls are the only clouds I know so…apologies in advance! And also, this is *just* my opinion, so you don’t need to agree, but I’d really appreciate your views…
To start with, I think it’s GREAT that some fans are so passionate about Rain that they just want to share everything they know about him to the rest of the world. They want people to know he’s more than just a talented singer-dancer-actor-model-etc, more than a hot bod with an adorkable personality, drop-dead charisma and an incredible work ethic, and basically just more than what the TIME’s description makes him out to be.
The info provided by Time *is* inadequate – but so is their coverage of everyone else in this race. And I see it as something positive, because it forces people ignorant of who he is to look him up. I mean they’d be like who the hell is this guy who’s supposed to be more influential than Beyonce? More than Lady Gaga??
They’ll automatically want to know who he is and why he’s winning…until they scroll down and see what they’ll view as obsessive comments from rabid fangirls. There was this one comment which really bothered me – it was along the lines of ‘I was going to look up this Rain guy to see who he was, but then I saw all these comments… I’d be embarrassed to be part of such a fanatic bunch’.
I was so so disappointed But I couldn’t help but empathise – I personally hate it when people write mini biographies in comment sections or on YouTube, or whatever. It’s a major turnoff – it makes people look like they’re trying too hard, and definitely takes away the ‘cool’ factor of liking the thing or person in the first place.
Rain is a talented guy – that’s what drew us to him in the first place. His story, his personality…that all came afterwards. It only takes one song, one episode from a drama, one music video for that interest to be sparked, and once that happens, you’re doomed!! Seriously, I have been trying to shake off this Rain obsession for practically two years, and I’ve never found anyone that comes anywhere close to him. And that’s not because I’m placing him on a pedestal either, I’m aware that he has many flaws. It kinda makes me wonder what I saw in my past crushes…Jesse McCartney, Orlando Bloom, Alex Pettyfer, Johnny Depp – OK, except for Johnny Depp. That man is a SWEETHEART. But I digress.*
With all those OTT comments, it goes straight from ‘How can I not know who this guy is?’ to ‘That’s why no-one round here knows who he is’ or maybe ‘No wonder he’s winning – he’s got loads of crazy [Asian] fangirls who have nothing better to do then sit and vote all day long. Some of us have LIVES’.
Do you get my point? There are loads of Rain fans out there – sure most are female, but a lot of guys admire him too – a lot wanna BE him And I know for a fact that you guys have busy lives of your own, and that you fit this in on the side rather than have your day dedicated solely to him. Plus he has fans all over the world – again, you guys are testament to that, so am I, and all those other fans listed on the right-hand side of your site. He’s more than just an idol – he’s a global icon. And he’s done that without having to adopt a freaky persona *coughladygagacough*
But trying to promote him so heavily – and above all in COMMENT sections…I don’t know, the effect just seems to be detrimental. It seems almost desperate. I saw the same thing happening over at MTV, there’d be comments that seemed like people were a) desperately trying to start a conversation in order to maintain interest in an old article, or b) just trying to raise the comment count.
At MTV, comment numbers don’t count so much as *what* they are – even a few funny, relevant comments are better than loads of repeated ‘Rain does this and this and this – what do you think?’ or just ‘Rain is the best!!! Aja aja hwaiting!!!’ Think about the target audience, typical teens. When they scroll down and see truckloads of info, they’re just gonna roll their eyes. A funny and engaging comment, or something short, easy to read, or just plain different – those are the ones we read. As for ‘- is the best’ comments, sure a few are ok, but I know I get frustrated if I read say a Twilight article and that’s all I hear about Rob. (Add that name to past crushes 😛 Oh, Rain, how you’ve ruined me!) It’s just an automatic turn-off. I know a lot of people never even gave Twilight a chance *just* because fangirls seemed so obsessed. And I don’t want that to happen to Rain.
(Plus the whole ‘aja aja’ thing may be awesome in a competition or something because then loads of peeps will be saying it, and eventually a curious bystander will ask as to its cryptic meaning, but when it’s done randomly, unless your into Korean stuff and have heard it before, you’re just gonna be like ‘wth? WEIRDOS.’)
Most articles at MTV get 0 comments, so even with 10, we’re still winning. MTV will definitely take it into account if there’s only one person commenting – but there are a good number of us down there, and that’s why MTV keeps printing Rain articles. There’s no NEED to try so hard – Rain’s name *is* becoming more well-known in the US, slowly but surely.
But back to TIME…
Don’t get me wrong, I have no objection to fans encouraging each other to vote (as long as it’s not too constant and they don’t make a big deal about it – that gives the impression that rather than having a large fanbase, Rain just has a small unemployed fanbase. OK, that was a terrible joke, but you get my drift).
And I also don’t mind fans yelling out stuff like ‘How awesome was he in that Adieu concert?!’ or ‘Fave MV: Rainism – that cane dance is epic’ REPLY: ‘Fave MV: Love Song – those abs were epic’ or even ‘He was incredible in ‘A Love To Kill’, but those pouts and puppy-dog expressions mean ‘Full House’ will forever be my favourite drama. That boy is <3’. You know, stuff that by themselves seem totally unrelated to the whole ‘sphere of influence’ thing we’re meant to be measuring but together show why he has such a strong following. Plus those things are easy to look up. Result: exposure.
I noticed people mentioning his charity work – that’s OK if it’s in a response, but it seems a bit random by itself. I mean, loads of celebs to charity work – why isn’t Angelina Jolie at the top then? Or those remarkable workers at Japan’s nuclear reactor? It’s not a contest to see who’s done the most good deeds, nor who’s the most talented. In many ways it’s just a simple popularity poll, merging different fields to include politicians, designers, promoters of human rights and so on.
I guess what I’m trying to say is I don’t like it when people try to market him so heavily. Or try to make him something he’s not. A doctor who works for free in Africa constantly saving lives, for example, is more worthy of respect. But that doesn’t diminish Rain’s accomplishments, nor lesson my regard for him. The boy’s making tremendous inroads by himself, and the best thing we can do to help him – he’d better come to Europe after he’s cracked the US!! – is just to win the thing.
And…also to do something about his Wiki page. That’s the first place an interested person round here would go (I can’t speak for Asia, but that’s irrelevant anyway since he’s conquered that part of the world…alongside Jay Chou :P) He needs better pics up there, because sadly, a lot of us are just that superficial. And the text needs to be organised a little better, maybe with more subsections, and definitely more details.
Hey Cloud USA!! *Waves* Do you reckon after this you could organise a Wiki project? Pretty pretty please? If everyone chips in a little, the burden wouldn’t be too great! I reckon he should have a separate section on ‘Tours’, the ‘Humanitarian Work’ section needs to get expanded, and the ‘Legal Issues and Cancelled Concerts’ part also needs to be refined (and maybe just cut down to ‘Legal Issues’ – most singers have had a cancelled concert at some point, but they don’t have a huge heading about it – it someone just glanced at the page, they’d assume it was his fault when we KNOW that wasn’t the case). And it’d be great to have a section on ‘Music Videos’ too – plus that ‘Army Enlistment’ bit could be updated. I wouldn’t mind proof-reading or editing if you guys didn’t have the time, but I’d need your help in making sure all the facts were straight!
OK, ridiculously long and detailed rant over, I’ma go vote some more then head off to bed…then maybe take a lesson on how to be concise? Most of my comments are so long and boring they just get ignored 😛
Anyways, adios amigos and sleep tight!
*Just noticed that I seemed to have had a lot of ‘pretty boy’ crushes in the past. *Shakes head sadly* Why so shallow?

Firstly, can I just say that you girls are absolute legends for having the patience to read all that. And thanks for ALL your views.
A couple of you mentioned just letting those fans do what they want to do, how it’s their RIGHT to comment what and how they like, and how we should even applaud their efforts. I’m not disputing that. I never did. Like I said, I think it’s great that fans are so passionate about Rain that they want to tell the whole world about him.
My issue was with the way they went about it, and I asked you to tell me objectively how *you felt* about bio-like comments. Some of you said you’re not bothered by them, others that you appreciated them. I know not everyone shares my sentiments – that’s why I asked.
At no point did I say that they should be stopped from doing it – I’m not a fan of the Nazi state – and I do object to whoever it was that said something about how humans have a funny way of thinking that their opinion is right and that everybody else should think along the same lines as them. Maybe I paraphrase or whatever, but something like that was said, the implication being that I’m unreasonably trying to impose my opinion on everyone else. If I misunderstood I apologise, but if not…well, you’re wrong. *Shrugs* I mean, I did emphasise it right at the beginning. Quote: “this is *just* my opinion”…
Do I expect a ‘Code of Conduct for Clouds posting on Well-Known Sites’? Hell no! Do I want a post from Cloud USA advising people against those types of comments? Of course not. Do I expect those comments to magically disappear having made my previous outburst? No! Though I wouldn’t mind if they did 🙂
And obviously people making those comments don’t think it’s annoying, else they wouldn’t do it. So I’m perfectly aware that this is just my view, that me disliking them won’t make them go away, and that it wouldn’t be fair to expect that.
This entire blog is the work of a few individuals, and I often find myself disagreeing with stuff that’s said, but does that mean Cloud USA expects me to just agree with everything they write? Of course not. I gave my view on the subject and asked for yours. That’s IT.
I only gave examples of other types of comments – the sort that I’d personally be more likely to read and appreciate – to show how people *could* promote Rain without being so overwhelming. So to clarify once and for all, yes those types of comments bother me, no I do not think measures should be taken against them (seriously what do you think I am?) and yes I KNOW it’s their right to do what they want.
You need to understand that the reason I got so disappointed with those comments was because it turned people off Rain before they got a chance to know him. I agree with BiALaMode and others who made similar comments about how ‘haters gonna hate’ but I’m not totally there with the ‘maturity’ thing. I don’t think it’s a question of maturity – whether we like it or not, people are automatically influenced by other people, often unconsciously. In fact a ‘mature’ person imo is *more* likely to want to distance themselves from crazes. They might not have a clue who the man is, but reading those types of comments they might get a bad taste in their mouth. Of course once they get to experience Rain’s work, they’ll automatically reconsider, but this post concerns the installing of that prejudice in the first place.
To Cloud USA in particular about my long comment about long comments being so ‘ROFL’, sure I see the irony but I thought being a Rain fansite it was a ‘safe’ place where we were free to vent or talk. It’s not easy to make a case here in a few words, and I’ve noticed a lot of peeps getting misunderstood because they didn’t spell out exactly what they meant. I wanted to avoid that. I don’t make the bio-type comments that I criticised in my earlier post anywhere, and I only ever make long comments on two sites – Cloud USA and rainlegend. And that’s simply because I don’t know any other clouds personally. *shrugs* For me, posting here’s always been a substitute for talking, but don’t worry after this thread I’ll definitely cut it down.

@Ash,
I totally get your statement. Glad we agree on some things. When you say a ‘mature’ person is more likely to distance themselves from ‘crazies’ you are absolutely right my dear…..and I am one of those people (SMILES). However, when I say maturity plays a part, (IMHO) It’s the maturity of an individual that will enable them to “See Past” Bullsh__t and find out about any subject/person/topic that has sparked their interest.
I likened it to this. If you frequent bookstores and happen to go to the magazines/periodicals, you may encounter Many individuals just standing about (‘crazies’). You like to read Architectural Digest (*Rain*), someone (‘crazies’) is standing in front of Architectural Digest (*Rain*), What do you do? Do you become discouraged and walk away without reading the magazine? or Do you you wait a moment or two for the mass confusion to possibly die down? or Do you say “excuse me please” and Reach Around (*ignore netizen bullsh__t*) the individuals (‘crazies’) and get the Architectural Digest (*Rain*) you came to read about in the first place.
Crazy analogy, I know, but I hope you get my point. People who are Mature Enough will take the time to “weed through the BS”. Is it a turn-off to be overly indulgent toward someone who has to avail himself of the same “bodily functions” on a daily basis as we do? of course it can be, but at the end of the day…….it’s just a poll. People in Japan are still suffering.
As far as the “prince/king” thing, I’ll be as blunt as I can without being censored (*hopefully*…..Smiles at Stephe and Terri). I have seen posts on this site, where Bi was referred to as “Prince”, even though it’s a little over the top for me personally. However, I wasn’t so weirded out by it that I didn’t get what the fanCloud’s sentiment was. What I got from it, was a person wanting to share the deepest respect she felt for Bi with all of us (Worldwide Clouds) in a Terminology that would be commensurate with what most countries would consider a respectable title and we could all share in that same feeling of deep respect.
NOW if somebody is calling Bi “Prince” and feels like they need to throw rose petals down for him to walk on as he passes by or be a “royal wiper” for his perfectly rounded apple bottom,so that he won’t get his own #2 on his fingers (*Coming To America anyone*)…………then THAT’S something ENTIRELY DIFFERENT! Honey, if I don’t use words like prince/king for the man I Really sleep with, then I sure as hell ain’t gonna use it for Bi……But he’s still my Baby Love (albeit FANTASY)!……..(SMILES)

@Ash,
Ok first of all, there is someone who writes longer posts than me….who knew?….(SMILES). Second of all, I don’t know your age NOR Am I Asking You To Tell It (SMILES), but let a Noona say a couple words.
The music industry AROUND THE WORLD in ANY-body’s country is marketed to “Rabid Teens”……..period!, and has been since the beginning of Popular music culture, however far back that goes. If Teens/Fangirls/Fanatics/Netizens want to lose their “Ever-Loving” minds and write biographies on comment sections, SO BE IT. The BOTTOM LINE is You Do YOU! You “love on” Bi the way it’s comfortable for you. I’m of an age where I have come to the realization, you can’t worry about or be bothered by things you have Absolutely NO CONTROL over. Fangirls writing “biography pages” about their favorite star is something so far beyond any Cloud control.
The thing about MATURITY is that those of us who have it, will research the Man, IF WE CHOOSE TO, if he sparks an interest in us, because it’s what we WANT TO DO. If I were to Read every article, every comment, look at every picture of Ji-Hoon Jung (Rain – Bi) NO AMMOUNT of cajoling, whatsoever, would move me BEFORE I’m ready to be moved. The same holds true if I were to be turned off by Ji-Hoon. I’m not one of those people who decides to like or dislike someone based on the opinion of others. I need to decide HOW I feel about you MYSELF through MY DEALINGS with you…..on whatever level.
Ooooh…….(Turned-off….from BABY LOVE….ME…NOT!!)
The BOTTOM LINE Ash is this, RAIN’s time in the U.S. forefront will be RAIN’s TIME, whenever, wherever, however…..Period! PERSONALLY, I don’t give a DAMN who writes what. I’ve DECIDED, I’m his CLOUD until I’m not and I don’t anticipate ever NOT BEING his CLOUD. My two cents for what their worth……………

Ash,
ROFL. First of all, I’m sorry, but I just couldn’t help LOLing at your HUMONGOUS comment about the HUMONGOUS comments on Time.com about Rain. Sorry. It was just a little bit funny.
I also had to ROFL @ your “why so shallow” statement. Don’t worry. You sound pretty normal to me. Pretty boy crushes are quite common. Really, they are. :-:-}
In defense of Rain’s fans, however, I feel the need to say a few things:
Sadly, most of the problems you are seeing in Time.com comment sections do not come from Rain’s fan base. Instead, they come from the ignorance and the intolerance of the American people. How can I say such a terrible thing about my own people? ‘Cause it’s true.
Most of the repetitive comments and over-sharing of information (not all, but most…) are in response to some extremely rude and racist comments being made on Time.com about Rain and other minorities on the list. I don’t know if you’ve read any of these comments, but if you haven’t, you should, because they are extremely offensive. These comments make Americans look like ignoramuses, and whenever I read them, I cringe. So, yeah, I’m embarrassed–but not necessarily by Rain’s fans.
Another thing we need to keep in mind is this: Rain’s fan base is international. It is comprised of people who come from many different cultures and who speak many different languages. Some of these people have only a very basic understanding of English. And yet these extremely intelligent and kind girls and women and boys and men are taking the time to come over to Time.com and are trying very hard to represent Rain as best they can—and all in a language they probably don’t even understand or speak very well.
I don’t know about anybody else, but I am SO impressed by their guts and SO grateful for their participation that I will support their right to say anything that they want to about Rain at all. Period. They love him and they want to show their appreciation for him in any way they can, and so they have come over here to this really dumb Time.com poll to try and help us keep him in the number one spot. Frankly, that is ENOUGH for me. I’m humbled by the fact that they are even participating at all.
You do have a good point, though, about people going on and on with the promotional comments. Beating people over the head about how great Rain is a real good way to run people off. Then again, there is so little “accurate” information out there in English about him, and so few people know who he is, that I also understand why Clouds are feeling the need to say SOMETHING in response to the “Who the hell is Rain” questions. Like you, though, I just wish they wouldn’t go on and on and on about it.
That being said, though, unlike Rain, neither Stephe nor I have any real influence on anyone whatsoever. So, I doubt there is much we can do to help other than suggest that all of our Cloud USA members simply keep their comments brief and vote. But that is all it would be–a suggestion.
Besides, in the end, I doubt anything we or anyone else says (or doesn’t say) about Rain is going to make any difference to the world-at-large. People who are going to love him are going to love him, people who are going to hate him are going to hate him, and people who are indifferent to him are going to remain indifferent. So, it’s probably simply best that we all just vote and comment and try to have fun. As Rain would say, “Why so serious?”
Regarding Rain’s Wiki page, more power to anyone who wants to get involved in that project. That would take more time and energy than I have. So, I say: GO FOR IT, somebody. Although, one of the problems over there, I’ve been told, is that one of the Wiki editors doesn’t like Rain and stops every effort at updating pics, etc. I don’t know the whole story, but someone here on Cloud USA does. Anyone want to chime in about Rain’s Wiki page?
Thank you for your comments, Ash. Please feel free to vent anytime.
Terri :-}
By the way, it’s very nice of you to say that Stephe and I are normal people. I think most people who know us would agree–except when it comes to this little insane thing we do on the side called Cloud USA. Ha ha. :-}

Aaaah Ash a girl after my own heart. I have been shocked and amazed at just HOW attached the clouds are to Rain. Now don’t get me wrong I AM a fan of Jung Ji Hoon and I think I will be for a long time BUT, the kind of … attachment (i.e. obsession) is pretty scary. The thing that really get’s my eyes rolling is when they call them “Their Prince or King” now come on people he’s an AMAZING man but he’s just a man. I can’t stand the fans that post to him like they know him and have a personal connection they make me wonder about who these people are and if they are on or should be on “meds”.
Most have seen my rant about the privacy issues that Jung Ji Hoon has to deal with, I don’t know of any other star that has to deal with that kind of fanatical attachment. I am SOOOOO glad I found him on my own or else if I’d have found him through “the cloud” fan site I think I might have second guessed my interest.
Maybe it’s an Asian thing they are very young in regards to things like Celebrities maybe we are just more experienced. I remember seeing video of the Beatles or Elvis they had a fanatical fan base too is it so different? Other than a much Greater audience base and the technology that allows more people to know about him (i.e. US and Canada) Hell people still cry of Elvis’ and John Lennon’s deaths how many decades after?
I now choose to like Ji Hoon because of who he is not the attention he gets, if anything I feel sorry for him because he can’t relax in his own country. Even stars like Hugh Jackman walk their kids to school every day or take them to the park. WHEN he gets his own family I think it will even harder for him to have any kind of normal life and that is just too sad.
Yes we can have fun and joke about Banana’s and Abs but that’s all it is is fun, after that we (hopefully) go back to reality. Everyone need someone that get’s the heart pumping and adrenalin moving every now and again. I’d like to think that for our moment of craziness we mostly have a great respect for the man.
For my part I admire him first and foremost because of what he has accomplished in such a short time, I admire his determination and his belief in himself and what he can do. I love that much of this comes from his love of his Mother and the promises he made to her. After that I admire all the things that come as a result of who he is, his talent as a whole yes his killer bod it is what drew me to him to begin with but it’s not what made me sign up as a card carrying member of the Cloud Fan club.
I am a Fan because he inspires me, he makes me think that this young man get’s it and if he can make an effort take a risk and go for it then why can’t I? He makes me believe that things aren’t impossible as they may seem if you just take the risk and try. All I need to do is “Do my Best” and the rest will follow.
And I’ll now step down from my soap box because I know you ladies probably have similar views so we will support Ji Hoon in our own quieter (and sometimes crazy) way but support just the same.

Boy, and I thought that I was writing too much!! We all know he is brilliant, humble, with a kind heart and very talented. Those are the reasons I love Rain and I am sure I am not alone in this view of him. Terri, you have a point there, there are people that won’t like Rain now or ever coz they have a closed mind when it comes to minorities. There’s nothing you can do to change those people. They don’t see how good he is or how much he does for the poor; he is asian and that is enough to dislike him ( don’t want to use the h word). Sooo, that’s that. I think that Fans want to express their love for Rain and they are gonna do it in their own way; wrong or good there’s nothing we can do about it. I am pissed with the site Times’ site coz won’t let me post so I am voting only but you girls keep posting and making your point but do it thinking what Rain would like to hear from his fans. Yeah…I remember seeing part of that conversation on privacy issues. It made me feel really awkward. I thought most of what you said was reasonable and I didn’t get why people were being so aggressive. It reminded me of one argument over at rainlegend about getting Rain to perform at the MMA, although that one was worse – it degenerated at times into personal insults rather than constructive points and I couldn’t believe at how they got to 50+ pages or something ridiculous like that. With those kinds of debates I find it best to stay clear, but I’m glad you guys resolved it in the end.
To come back to that fanatical attachment issue, I have to say I agree to an extent. But when I’ve been trolling through other sites, I’ve noticed other stars have those sorts of problems too, it’s not just Rain – Super Junior and SNSD fans have developed a reputation for being obsessive to the point where it’s dangerous. Fights have even broken out with fans mistakenly believing they’re defending their idols’ reputations. As it stands, the Cloud fanbase has a reputation (in Korea) for being fairly moderate (scary isn’t it :P), and channelling their energy and love into harmless activities like banners and donating to charity. Generally, most won’t attempt to follow him home and won’t publicise the hotels he stays at until after he’s gone. I remember clouds getting mad on his behalf when reporters forced their way into his house in the past.
I thought I was the only one unsettled by fans calling Rain their ‘prince’ lol. And in a totally different way to just saying ‘Rain is the King of K-pop’ or like ‘Prince Charming’. Although it did make me laugh and go awww when in the really blurry or faraway shots of Rain they stuck a little crown on him to show everybody just which shadow was him. 😀
I’ve noticed that in Korea they foster a sort of ‘cult of personality’ with their celebrities which makes people feel like they really know the ‘true’ them – and that automatically makes them more attached to them. Two other reasons: it seems a lot easier for Koreans to meet their idols and Korean netizens have a LOT more influence over them. I guess that all contributes to the feeling of having a personal connection. Personally, I don’t think it’s healthy – I can’t understand how fans can follow their idols to hotels, airports, restaurants and so on and still maintain their own lives – but someone will always say: ‘that’s their culture. It’s normal for them. JUST RESPECT THEM!!’
It’s definitely not normal here though, so I do see where you’re coming from – that’s why the Robert Pattinson and Justin Bieber crazes got so much coverage here. Rob is at best an average actor – he might improve, but currently he’s not amazing. Justin admittedly does have a lot of talent – but not as much as to warrant the kind of attention he’s got. But in Korea, that’s the sort of attention MOST popular idols get on a daily basis, it’s just Korea’s a heck of a lot smaller than the US so it never hits global news.
Anyway, I’ll stop there because this is getting as long as my last post. Ah well, I already have the reputation for being the wordiest, most long-winded cloud on this blog 😛

Yes after posting and reading the TON of posts this thread has brought out I did start to realize North Amercia has their own level of fanatics. Justin Bieber is an example of that, I am sure his concerts and places he is seen in public can be quite insain too but I still believe Celebrities in North American/Canada have a lot more freedom and respect for their privacy than Asian Celebrities do.
I’ve seen a couple people post about Ji Hoon’s desire to move to North America after his M.S. is that true or just wishful thinking?

I totally get what you’re saying – round here it’s not normal to stalk your celebs, and most of that hysteria is reserved for official events like concerts etc. Plus celebrities in the west seem to have huge legions of bodyguards, stylists and PAs with them at all times, so even if they did happen to visit the realm of us mere mortals, it’d probably be hard to get close. However, they generally have a worse time with paparazzi. I remember Rain mentioning that when he visited, he cleaned his hotel room and bathroom until they were spotless because he’d heard the paps sometimes went through rubbish and checked rooms afterwards for anything interesting to report. So celebs here still don’t have much privacy or freedom, but admittedly that’s due more to the press than to actual fans.
About him coming to the US, he did say in an interview that after MS he wanted to move to North America so that he could concentrate more on Hollywood films. I imagine it’d be a sort of temporary relocation, for two or three years tops, and with frequent trips back to Korea – although that’s pure speculation and we’ll never know until he tells us. He said he thought acting was the best way to make a name for himself here (previously, around the time of his world tour, he’d been angling for an album, but he said he knew now that the music industry was much harder to crack than he’d thought, and that it’d be easier to develop as an artist here having made a foundation through acting. I doubt he’d wanna stay there after he’d established himself firmly enough though – he always seems to get lonely and homesick, plus he’s close to his Korean clouds and is always trying not to neglect them – isn’t that why he said he’d done Fugitive in the first place? And we all know how important Korean food is to the boy! 😛 I’m just hoping that when he does go to America, we’ll automatically get more Rain in the UK too 🙂

Adding to this entire comment sub-thread here, not just Ash’s comments:
We humans all over the world are funny in that we tend to think people should act and think the same way we do, even when being raised in a completely different culture makes that impossible.
I remember feeling pretty strange about a lot of things in Asian culture and the Asian mindset when I first became a Rain fan six years ago. There was a lot that I just didn’t “get.” But then I realized that I didn’t understand it because of my “American” brain, rather than through any fault of theirs. And once I started reading, researching, and meeting Asian friends, I saw that the vast majority of how they did things was misunderstood and mostly harmless. For example: The Kennedys are known offhand here as “American royalty” and as living in “Camelot,” Micheal Jackson is the “King” of Pop, Elvis the “King” of Rock and Roll, etc., so why would I have a problem with Rain being seen offhand as “royalty” in Asia? It’s just a saying. We say, “Did you see that hot guy by the pool? What a god…!” So why would I have a problem with Asians using “Rain god” (the top of the heap, the BEST of his kind, so high that no other celeb can reach him, NOTHING whatsoever to do with religion)? It’s all in the interpretation.
I also was faced with the fact that if not for Rain’s Asian fans and their “heavy-handed” support over the past nine years, he wouldn’t still be here for us all to join in and support now.
I’m still very Western in thinking, and some things Easterners do still make my eyes bug out every now and then O___O, but for the most part, I’ve made peace with our differences, the same way I expect them to accept the crazy stuff we do over here without trying to change us.
As far as the rest of the world goes, people either like Rain or they don’t. If something as simple as “comments” would make you not like him, then he doesn’t need that kind of wishy-washy support to begin with. He needs true-blue people who want him for himself. He needs people who will give his entire world fan base equal respect. He needs for all these people who preach tolerance to actually use it.

Oh come on. You know what I meant. Offhand, the Kennedys are referred to by the American media and the world media as “the closest thing to a royal family if America had a royal family” and as “living in Camelot”, and NOT because they actually are, but because the word “royalty” does not only refer to blood but also to things that have the appearance or spirit of being sovereign (supreme or high in power; independent of and unlimited by any other; predominant; etc.). Thus, the King of Pop, the King of Rock and Roll, the prince of tides (the novel, no royalty in it), the Queen of the Sea (which is a cruise ship )…
That’s all I meant.

Just to clarify but not back peddling. I have no issue about them giving him the lable of the King or Prince or whatever of Pop, that’s a title and yes if Elvis can be King so can Rain. I just shiver when I see the coments where they say our Prince did this or that like he really is someone that they think is so far above them, it just smells of obsession and is scary to think they are out there. Now God nope sorry I won’t take God at all he’s a man not someone to worship over that’s just stupid (sorry if I ofend anyone with that its just my opinion).
As for Asian culture, as I get to know more and more about Korea I am loving it. I love the way they call each other Oppa and Hyung etc… I love the solidarity of it all the closeness. And though it surprised me at first I even love the why the guys hug each other and show affection it is as it should be. I am even making plans to visit Korea next year because I’m loving the culture more and more each day. I wish I had a degree cuz I’d be shipping out to teach English before you could say HOLY EXPAT BATMAN.

Something else people seem to conveniently forget–especially his Asian fans. Rain is actually a R&B/hip-hop artist, not a “pop-star” so to speak. In fact, I believe that he is actually probably a lot more THUG that we could ever imagine.
I mean, come ON. The man lived on the streets of Seoul for awhile and was a b-boy in the underground dance world before JYP pulled him up by his bootstraps and made him a real star.
I sometimes wonder what kind of “dialect” Rain spoke when he was young, how he sounded before they “cleaned him up” and made him a “pretty boy.” I mean we’ve all seen the self-cams of him with the pencil in his mouth, trying to clean up his enunciation right? Well, they usually only do that if someone has some sort of bad habit accent thing they want to clean up. Like you keep talking like you’re in the hood, dude…stop it. I mean all we hear is a Korean accent, but I often wonder.
Seriously. The man was hanging out and doing duets with people like Lil’ Kim and Omarion years ago. Doesn’t anybody remember the connection? Can anybody say Rainy Day and cornrows? (Pssst…right now Rain is following 50Cent on his official Twitter account. Guffaw.)
I have also noticed that all of Rain’s dancers have some really cool looking tats. But not Rain. Then again, maybe he does, and they are in places we just haven’t seen–yet. Hmmm. Lemme think on that one for a bit.
Oh well. Just some ramblings to make people stop and think for a change–or to cause chaos. I’m happy with either/or. :-}

Just studying the words “oppa” that females call older males and “hyung” that guys call older males says a great deal about the South Korean mindset right there. These words literally mean “protector/big brother” regardless of whether the older male is related to you by blood or not. From birth, S. Koreans use those terms and “unni” and “noona” for older sister and “halmoni” for grandmother even without blood ties. The little neighbor girl next door would call YOUR grandmother “halmoni” the same way you would.
The country’s identity is based on the idea that as citizens, as one people, no one is ever alone and everyone “belongs” because they’re all one national family, or “related”, so to speak.
So when girl fans act as if they “know” Oppa Rain, that’s because it’s simply the culture they were born into.
Now, I know there are some folks out there who go way beyond this into the realm of true fanaticism, and that is not limited to Asia by any means… some of the strangest cases I’ve seen are on THIS side of the ocean, wow. But all I’m doing with this additional comment is simply shed more light on this thing.

Lotus, I agree. This sub-thread sparked real conversation didn’t it? Honestly, I hadn’t even read the comments below on the TIME poll. I just went to do my daily voting, checked poll standings and then left the “scene.” Fanatics are everywhere in every culture. When I was a teen, I “loved” Michael Jackson like a lot of little black girls at the time. His posters lined my wall and I had a big giant Thriller album cover poster in the center. However, I didn’t just “DEVOTE” all my time to Michael. I liked The Sylvers, The Emotions, Deniece Williams and a whole litany of singers. My father was a music enthusiast among other things and I was surrounded by music my whole life. However, MY reality was you can listen to your music, you can copy the fashion trends of your favorites, BUT YOU WILL GET YOUR DAMN GRADES you hear me!!
MY reality now is I can “love on” Ji-Hoon as much as I feel I want to, but when House Note, Car Note, Electric Bill, Water Bill, Cable Bill, Phone Bill, Insurance, Gasoline SPANKS that A__S every month my thoughts quickly become….BI Who????
Getting “slapped” in the face with that “bucket of cold water” will snap ANY rational human being right back into reality. These people who go off on tangents or who post “I LOVE YOU YOU’RE MY LIFE” nine thousand times in one post, Those are the “Scaries” who have SERIOUSLY suspended reality. I haven’t seen that here on Cloud USA. We talk our crazy talk and then we go on about our real lives.
Boy, if somebody were to hear Bi fart, I really hate to see what might happen. The world may stop orbiting.

BiAlamode, to tell the truth I’ve never ever had a thing for a famous person. REALLY! I’ve though wow he’s cute or dang love the body, but have never given them a second thought. I’m from Mpls for those that don’t know thats in Minnesota it’s called the” little apple”. Anyway I’ve seen a lot of famous people and have grown up with some who have become famous, I’ve also traveled a bit and well to be honest with my childhood the way it was (extremely poor, mentally and physically abused and other things) again not for feed back or pity, but my focus was on getting out! and the only way I could do that was to work my a** off! and trust me when I tell you I did and do! I had to have a better life for myself so I didn’t have time for fangirl stuff. I started babysitting at 9 yeah I know what some of you might think I’m full of it but trust me YOU HAVE NO IDEA! from there I sold candy door to door and then started working in a nursing home playing games or just talking with the elderly and since I respect our elderly and their wisdom I enjoyed it very much. Now I’m not gonna do my bio this was just a little glimpse just to let you know why I wasn’t the fangirl type. I’m not ashamed of my life in anyway but I do wish I had a childhood I had to grow up very fast so you can see why I’m so attached to JiHoon.(NOT FANGIRL attached!) but there are times hahaha anyway when I first saw this man on the screen it was like DAMN! and as I got to know more and more about him I could really identify with what he went through and his determination to make it although I’m not in the entertainment field at the end of the day its still just a job. And I also get it, the I have to be better what can I do to improve myself, you never want to go back to that awful place you came from. So as much as I adore his eyes, smile, face, hands and body at the end of the day I still do me my life goes on because JiHoon and I live in two totally different worlds and will never meet, and again its all good. Not saying that I wouldn’t love to see or meet him but if that ever happen it would just be me a fan cause lets face it honey I ain’t in a fairy tale book, hahaha so I’m not gonna work myself up for something I could never have. And just to go back on something, the famous people that I’ve ran into we just speak and go on or the head nod to acknowledge I know who the are, I don’t do the autograph thing. HAHAHAHA sorry for the laugh its not to insult anyone its just one of my friends who is famous asked me one time if I wanted his autograph hahahaha I laughed at him and no I didn’t want it. Ok I’ve rambled enough.

Lotus,
I so get what you mean. I am SO NOT a fan girl that the idea of me running a fan site for anybody is unbelievable to EVERYONE who knows me. I mean when they find out about it, they are like….WTH? LOL.
But they did get it once I explained, and now everyone is pretty supportive. For example, I’ve harassed all of them so much about voting for Rain on Time.com that they are all now actually doing it. LOL. That’s true love, right? Especially from all my fellas. Ha ha ha.

@Lotus,
I take no offense at all. You ask for no pity and I would never insult you by doing that. However, I must say that sister my hat is off to you for being a survivor. That said, I won’t insult you by being coy. My childhood was the total opposite. I was the typical only child, many would say “spoiled brat” (which makes me cringe), while I may have been doted on (spoiled to a degree….won’t lie), I got my share of “parental correction.” My folks Very Much “limited” my ability to claim the “usual only child title” (brat). I was not allowed to become a brat. Between my parents and grandparents and great-grandparents, being a brat was never a possibility. This is one reason people are so surprised when they get to know me, that I’m not a snobbish DIVA. Anyway, I did have the whole fangirl experience but at every turn/phase of my life I had “Reality Checks” all around me. This being said if I were to meet Bi, yeah I can’t lie I’m gonna do the “fangirl” thing and ask for an autograph now…..CAN’T LIE! (SMILES) but I’m not gonna try to rip his clothes or stand there and scream/cry and piss on myself. I never had those types of reactions even when I was a teen. (SMILES) I would be giddily excited a little nervous but……NORMAL!!
I said all that to say that the very reasons you came to respect Ji-Hoon are the very reasons I have come to respect Ji-Hoon. For all the doting I received as a child, my folks (my Dad in particular) taught me to never feel I was better than anyone and to always give respect to your fellow man until/unless they show themselves unworthy of your respect. My father was an executive by profession and he told me once that when he was with his colleagues he noticed they would always walk by the custodial staff and never acknowledge them, but he (my Dad) would always speak to them (say good morning etc.). One day one of his colleagues had the nerve to ask him why even did that. Needless to say my father was “floored” by the arrogance of this individual. This is one the many life lessons I take from my parents’ experiences. To this day, at my job when the custodial staff come and empty our trash, mop our floors, clean the bathroom. I ALWAYS say “Thank You” every single day. I can just see the appreciation in their eyes for that simple gesture of kindness. It didn’t cost me a thing, but it may be the only ounce of gratitude that person will feel that day, you never know. Anyway, this is how I try to be about all people. WOW signing off now……I’m like Ash today! (SMILES)

If you’re using IE and vote, you can delete your history etc and then just refresh the page (there’s no need to open a new window).
Also, this technique might work for you…
– Set Rain’s TIME 100 page as your homepage
– Under the ‘General’ tab under ‘Internet Options’, tick ‘Delete Browsing History On Exit’. Make sure ‘Cookies’ and ‘History’ are checked as well as under the ‘Delete…’ button
– Get voting! Hopefully, you’ll be able to vote straight every time you open up IE!

Yeah, I was just over there looking through all the comments. I’m extremely disappointed in all the hating that’s going on there. Its funny actually, because the entire atmosphere reminds me of the Day Care I work at, mostly toddlers and preschoolers.
