… because they showcase his voice in a way that is phenomenal.
… because lying back and listening to them with your eyes closed is like heaven sound.
… because they have my 72-year-old mother, a down-home Georgia Peach and Southern Baptist church deaconess who ONLY likes songs she understands the lyrics to, trying to sing in Korean. (I started playing Rain albums in the car during trips to her chemotherapy a while back, just to get her introduced to him, and though she swears she isn’t hung up on him, she’s always head-rocking and finger-tapping to his beat on the passenger side when she thinks I’m not watching, and giving other drivers on the road attitude out the window when he’s rapping, and will get downright violent if I don’t put The Disk—her name for ANY Rain CD—in the CD player the instant I start driving. She is so in the closet.)
And so, I present two of my very favorites to you that we just don’t get to hear anymore… Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus (Hwaseongeseo On Namja, Geumseongeseo On Yeoja) 화성에서 온 남자 금성에서 온 여자, AND Sad Empty Space (Iswiun Bin Gonggan) 아쉬운 빈 공간, both from the Rain2 album Vol. 2 How To Avoid The Sun.
Oh, and as a bonus, you’ve got a debut-year JiHoon full of hope and singing James Ingram on a self-cam in his van between gigs, and in other places, when he didn’t even know English yet. Showing off his mom’s ring. And accepting his Daesang. Soooo precious, all of these things.

Wow!! There is inocence in that second video with so much pain but a fiery determination to do great things. Rain has come a long way to reach his goals and has go tru hell and back to get everything he owns today. I admire that will of steal; that fire that burns so deep in his heart. That’s why Rain is a true star. His mom knew that and that’s why she supported his son in the only way she could; telling him to continue his career, to never give up. I am sure she is very proud of him; of the amazing man he has become. Sighhh, damn, now I am crying. Stephe this is all your fault!! Lol!! Love you baby boy; for everything you are.

this second vid sooooooooooooo sweet listing to rain perfrom and all his debut and fanmeeting with his stage and singing JUST ONE it making me feel the love of him and how sweet of rain can get it just so lovelt of rain and it is a truly a great montage ** *SNIF*
