[Cloud USA announcement] Hold on to your hats!
Well, Cloud USA community members, hold on to your hats. (Or better yet, sit down. This one is a real doozy.) It’s safe to say that Rain liked your box of Christmas love, because when Terri went to pick up our Cloud USA mail at our shipping center Saturday afternoon… this was waiting for her.
An autographed Back To The Basic CD from The Man.
You can scream now. I’ll wait until you’re done before I continue. *insert Double Jeopardy music here* *waiting* *waiting* Done? Okay, cool! 🙂
Actually, we knew it was coming. Our overseas contacts had clued us in (thanks so much, wonderful friends!). But we didn’t want to open our big mouths until it got here, just to, you know… make sure it got here. Because we would have felt like big doofuses if it had gotten lost in the mail or something.
But it made it, and we are happy. *putting it on the shelf with all of our other Rain goodies…for now…* Congrats to you all on a task well done. For being so kind as to provide JiHoon with a bit of cheer from this side of the world, after he’d had such a terribly trying year. He has the best fans in the world, from all four corners of it.

We do want to be sure you all understand exactly where we’re coming from…
This CD is not going in either my or Terri’s personal Rain collections.
We are keeping this in Cloud USA‘s stash, along with the other items that we’ve either bought for Cloud USA or that have been donated to us and the fan site, all things that may eventually be used for fund-raising, contest giveaways, member appreciation events, or other such things to benefit the membership and the site. OR we will start a Cloud USA gallery of sorts with it, a collection of things that will simply always belong to the membership. (This is the more likely scenario, but we’ll see.)
Nothing prompted me to explain this, nothing at all. It just hit me that perhaps this wasn’t clear.

Oh my dear, Stephe! I don’t care (and I am sure other Cloud USA members do either) if it does goes into your personal stash LOL. You ladies deserve it anyway.
I am just excited that Baby Boo received it, opened it, most probably very surprised by it, more than likely touched by the love behind it, definitely smiled at the wonderful presents (particularly hand-made ones) included in it and .. then acknowledged us with the SIGNED album………. squeeeeeeeee.

OMG I am screaming at my computer right now with a big smile on my face!!! I really was not exspecting he would acknowleged us. Not saying he would not be grateful but he is really a busy man. I was just happy to know he actually got the box. But to know he really liked our gifts and sent something back to say thanks for thinking of me. Man this has made my day. Thanks Sephe and Terri for coming up with the idea to send him a Christams box!!!!

You should have seen me at the mail center. I saw the package and thought could this be? Could it? The young lady who always helps me ship things (including the box and the posters) saw my excitement and asked me what I thought it was, and I told her.
She was like “Ooooh…do you wanna open it now?” I’m like…duh, yeah. There were like a gazillion rolls of shipping tape on that thing. So, it took a box cutter and some serious elbow grease to get it open. By the time we got it done, she was as excited to see the CD come out of that package as I was.
Okay, well, maybe she was excited because the package was so damned hard to open, but I like to think not. I like to think that she has been watching Cloud USA’s journey this past year too, and it has been exciting for her as well. And I think I’m right. :-}

I am sooo excited!!!!! I knew he would answer in some way!!! lol!!!! Rain is a star like no other and HIS WAY of doing things is like no other star out there!! Congratulatios ladies!!! I am really happy for you!! I thought Rain would let us know somehow but this is AWESOME!!! Terry, I can’t imagine how you felt when you saw that cd with Rain’s autograph. A really happy moment I am sure!!! Is amazing to know that our baby boy received our box filled with love. I hope he felt our love and that we made him happy with our gifts. SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!
