AND he shouted out my girl, the celebrated Forever R&B diva Insooni, who is HUGE in their country (S.Korea)! Oh, wow. 😀 (I am assuming this. I don’t know of any other big singers named Insooni.)
I’ve been an Insooni fan for several years now. (HERE is a brief Wiki page on her in English.) I admire Insooni, who is a few years older than me, because she made her path regardless of the difficulties that came of being of mixed race in her country (Korean and Black). She’s highly respected in K-celeb circles (I’ve seen her on idol shows like Star Golden Bell) and revered by the S. Korean people. She does have one hell of a voice.
As some of you may recall, Rain and Insooni both headlined Busan’s National Wide Sports Festival this past June 11th, before he went off to ZEPP.

He is truely a beautiful person. I am not just talking about outer beauty but he inner beauty is even more radiant. He really cares for people and very humble. I am glad that god has blessed him with everything he has. He truley deserves it. Such a wonderful person.

I’ve noticed that Jihoon is always respectful and acknowledges the Senior Artists (Music and Actors),…those who have come before him. He knows how hard they’ve had to work to get there and stay, and this reveals the depth of his character. Also, for Insooni to be there to see him, was a nice surprise and honor to Jihoon.
@Stephe — nice “shout-out” about Insooni. When I first saw the name, I immediately thought of her as well, and that Yep, everybody loves Jihoon. 🙂

Actually I think JiHoon is also referring to getting to be personally involved with people more, also US! cloudusa? and I’m sure he knows all to well of the problems of mixed race brings even in S.Korea. Even though JiHoon is a busy man I do believe he has taken more time to learn of all his CLOUDS. 😀

You can tell he was really touched by the greeting slide show. looking at rain the face and expression show in his face saying He was really appreciative to all this work and message to him how i wish i can be part this i know i well crying yet impressive by that touch. This was a great video because it was so close up on him. that was so touch of rain he greet them and told thenm that was a specail day for come to his concert..
i fell bad that i could even be their for his Adieu concert it meanful alot to rain of that slide show and rest of his fans coming to see him he sure put alot effort toward that concert yet his hardwoking as who he worldstar…

I took this as Rain was saying this was a trying year for him. You know with all the rumors and legal battles he has had to face. Through all of that he has learned alot. I bet he learned alot about himself too that he did not relize. I wish him continue success and happyness this year.

I had come across her once before on YT but it was just in passing. I will go back and check her out further. I saw and old vintage Ebony magazine that had pictures of children like Insooni born to U.S. servicemen and local women in Asian countries in the 1950s and how they were shunned (just the facts). I’ll revisit that as well. Boy, getting to know Rain you learn lots!
