@Terri, is 7500 people venue really considered small? That seem like alot of people to me. But then I am know expert?
Also, was it 7500 people at each show or total of both shows?
I am so happy for Rain, that either way whether small or large venue his concert was sold out.

Yes, 7,500 is a small venue. Often, he performs at venues that can hold 30,000 people, especially in Japan. And he sells a lot of tickets.
He had 2 concerts on New Year’s Eve. If the concerts were held in the smaller venues, then that meant that if he sold 7,500 tickets at each show (selling the shows out), he would only be selling like 15,000 tickets. That’s NOT a lot of money for him.
So, he plainly did this show mostly for his fans’ pleasure, and not for a lot of profit.
I sure do hope that he keeps the venues small when he comes to the U.S. I’d much rather be in a small crowd of 5,000 (like at The Fox Theater, rather than in a humongous arena with 30,000 (like at the Phillips Arena).
But then again, I’m not sure how realistic that would be. If he can manage to sell the tickets, then I guess I’d rather him sell as many as he could, because touring in The States has got to be expensive for him, right? And we want him to be able to come back, right???

@Terri 7500 people just seem like alot of people to me. But compared to 30,000 that is a small venue for him to play. Even though the venue was small it was great that he sold out. And if he did it mainly for his fans pleasure that is extremely extra cool of him. I would also, like to see him in a small venue. But if I had a chance to see him live period I would take him in a small or large venue. Hell I would take him anyway I can get him, LOL!!!
You mentioned The Fox Theater may ask where you are from? Is it Stpehe that is from Atlanta?

to tell you the true my feelings about his hair is this.
FANS RESPONDED, hahaha and that’s what he wants. fans always get comfortable with a certain style of his and when he makes a change it’s almost like they go through re-adjustment or something. but, i’m really feeling this hair style. those stage performances bring on sweat, heavy sweat and it seems that Rain is always looking for a style that works while performing. this one worked well, very well. never once did his hair stick to his face like it has done in the past, nor did it go limp and lose it’s style. this time that hair was flowing and glowing and at the end of the show, it was still looking super good. just make me want to (what’s that Steph said she wanted to run her hands through)?, hahaha me too.

@busybee1982 I too like Rain new hair alot. There have been maybe a couple of pics that I did not like totally but I really like his hair alot. I thought that his hair fit with his concert theme. I wonder since he said his album is going to be restro. If this is his version of a retro hair style. Yes sometimes change is hard to take. I describe his hair as being curly and free. Just like Stephe and you I want to run my hands through his hair.

Well, if he was trying to go retro, then his hair was perfect! I’m pretty sure that’s what he was going for.
And I like it too. Although, I’d rather it be more curl than frizz, but either way, I’m good.

I am so thankful for all the pics and videos! Yep, looks like Rain let it all out for the show. And I agree some of the pics had my hair blowing back along with his (Whew…., Now that’s HOT!). I don’t know what we’d do if folks didn’t sharing their pics and vids with us from all these activities. Us folks in the U.S. would just dry up and wither away from the lack of any info, or Rain “stimulation”… (Oops, did I type that…, well I’ll leave it. Ya know what I mean). Luv it, Luv it, Luv it! That’s my Guy! 😀

let me say this, the news article said 7,500 fans, but a fan who was there said it had to have been at least 10,000 because fans had filled up the third floor.
i ask her for a fan account and hopes she response. but, yeah when i look at some pics on Japanses blogs, the upper levels are packed and the the lower and ground levels are too. i happy about that cause the weather in Seoul has been nothing but snow and i was a little worried.

The stadium is a very small venue and only holds 7500 people. And it is my understanding that the shows were sold out.
That is why they keep saying 7500 fans, because that is all the indoor stadium would hold.
But someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

ahhh, ok…i didn’t know what the capacity was. another fan seemed overly curious about the size of the stadium and the fan who was there reported the 10,000 figure.
i visited another fansite that had ariel photos posted so hey, i can’t count or even begin to figure those stadium numbers. anyway whether 7,500 or 10,000 i was just amazed at the crowd inspite of the bad weather and thanks for that clearification.

I’m not sure I know the capacity either. I was assuming that they were talking about the Jamsil Student Gym, which has a capacity of 7,500, which would mean that the houses were sold out. But there’s another Indoor Gym with a capacity of about 13,000. So, now I’m as confused as you. LOL.
Maybe we’ll get the answer someday.

OMG!!!! This pics. are to-die-of-a-heart-attack!! First, I love that outfit of army pants and combat boots with jacket and tie; is so modern and he looks hot!!! Love the girls outfit too with the black ruffles underneath the army outfit, awesome!! I will wear it in a heartbeat if I was their age of course. LOL!! The red squares outfit only Rain can wear it and look good in it. But it was good with the grey shirt that he ripped open later. Squeak!!! Gosh, that part was amazing!! The Nan outfit was my favorite, all leather, yummie!! and those pants soooo looow, damn!! I almost swoon in that song. I don’t know but I have a feeling that this concert is the beginning of his world concerts. If I get to see him in the US with this concert I am gonna die!!!

My sentiments exactly, girl. I was eating lunch at my desk at work on Friday when I made the mistake of looking at these pictures the first time.
And when THE ONE with the girl dancing in front of Rain (you know THE ONE I’m talking about) appeared on my monitor, I choked on my food. My teammate from his cube said, “What? What’s wrong? You okay?”
My INSTANTANEOUS response was, “Yes! Cough! No! Cough! Nothing! I’m FINE!” And then I closed the window.
A few seconds later he comes strolling over, just to make sure I’m okay. Gah. There is no way I would have been able to explain myself. No-way-at-all.
