From Stephe’s desk: How about the media STOP announcing Rain’s last concert and let HIM do that? What a concept.
First it was this past summer’s ZEPP tour in Japan. Media: “Rain’s last concert before he goes in the military!” (We didn’t buy that because RAIN didn’t say it) Everybody re-posts it.
Then it was the Intensity show in Manila in the fall. Media: “Rain’s last concert before he goes in the military! Hurry!” (We didn’t buy that because RAIN didn’t say it) Everybody re-posts it.
And then recently, his upcoming Goodbye 2010/Hello 2011 New Year’s Eve show on the 31st near midnight… (a HUGE hint as to what the event is really for, ya think) Media: “Rain’s LAST concert before going in the military! He’s leaving and saying goodbye! Adieu!” Everybody re-posts that. Fans are passing out all over the place because he’s supposedly saying goodbye for two years. (We didn’t buy that because RAIN didn’t say it… do you see a pattern here? Do you?)
*sigh* Seriously.
And now he’s just announced OUT OF HIS OWN MOUTH that he’s planning a world tour before going into the military. Gee—none of those were his “last concert” like everyone but him claimed they were. Not only that, he had already alluded to planning another world concert tour before going into the military while in Japan back in JULY. While on stage. So why would anyone think any of these would be his last concert? Huh?
On top of that, no one knew when he would be leaving for the military to begin with. We had NO DATE. So how is the media going to know when his last concert is, anyway, much less report it?
How about everyone let RAIN tell us when his last concert is? Okay?
What’s so hard about that?

P.S.: Whenever Rain promises us something, he always delivers (barring unforeseen circumstances or Acts of God), so we can trust what he says. However, things aren’t always written in stone (those unforeseen circumstances I referred to), so this upcoming world tour does hinge on everything falling properly into place. Still—let’s say, heaven forbid, something happens to delay it and he has to go away before giving us another concert. My point is: even if ADIEU!2010 turns out to be his last, that wasn’t Rain’s plan or intent. He never said that. Not once.

That is right, only those type of people will believe without question what the media says. The problem is, ignorance is not in the minority — there are a gazillion of them, with a computer. And every wrong thing, made-up thing, ridiculous thing, or heaven forbid damaging thing that the media posts is always believed and/or re-posted by them.
That’s what gets Rain in a lot of the trouble that he’s still in today. That’s what makes his life so miserable sometimes.
This “last concert” business is NOT one of the bad things, not at all, and is more funny than anything else.
But I’m always going to be sensitive when it comes to assumptions that people post as fact. And I should be, you know?

Well I can’t get in any more trouble and so what! Stephe you go my sister I am backing this 100% I think a lot of times JiHoon is being bullied into things because they have announced it so he feels obligated.

Amen. Well said Stephe. I mean, Rain is so sincere with his fans that I am sure he is gonna said it when the time comes. The media should leave it alone already.

oh Stephe, don’t get your panties in a bunch, that’s what the media does and only ignorant people will believe them, so be happy that they were wrong about all his “last” concerts…BI is is till here!!! and he will be for most of 2011, I do count my blessings and don’t stress, cause I know the score 😉

that exazctly bought threw our mind let rain said U know i honest keep say rain last concert too that the trus of what am thinking but sent i heard that he leaving the military next yet he announce on KBA dating these past couple day i know it more to coming this coming years so we could say it the end his concert yet we have no nothing waht rain plan next eitehr so i am very delight when he give us a hink and yet make us more intersting waht going to happen next i agredd……………….!!
