Well bless my britches! Never thought I’d see Rain and Ja Rule and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony on the same show, even in Seoul. Whut? Dang!
The usual It’s Raining “Stop!” was punctuated by a REALLY LOUD explosion here, which looks to have scared the CRAP out of Rain to where he completely lost his train of thought. I can see why that isn’t used anymore! Good heavens!

Awww, poor baby!!! I think is the first time I see him that lost in stage. It would scare the bejesus out of me too!! On the other hand, his chilhood picts. are sooo cute!!!! Rain was soo adorable at that age that is difficult to understand why people found him ugly or worst, couldn’t be touched by his efforts to be succesful. I mean, when you find a young boy so talented and eager to work to make a career for himself you help him. Also, to this day I can’t understand why in darnation JYP make Rain dance during 4 hours!! That is just cruel to me. Just saying.

First I want to say every time I see old footage of Rain I can never understand why agencies thought he was ugly. Rain was never ugly, when he was young he was so cute. Now he is cute, handsome, sexy, hot and more!!! Rain always stood out even as a backup dancer. He was destine to be a super star. I do not blame that lady for wanting to leave with him. Rain was in shock that he made that shot. That was amazing to watch. Rain is good at everything.
In the second video he look so cute and sexy!!! I love the red tank top, sexy!!! Is there not a color that he doesn’t look hot in. Man that bang scared the hell out of me. I do not blame him for being thrown off, I would of been off too. It sounded like gun shots. He had to laugh at it but you can tell he was thrown off balance. His dancers recovered faster and just like the professionals they are they keet going because the show must go on.

I agree, Flower. He was never ugly at all. I don’t know what they were thinking.
I am always tickled when I watch old videos of him as a back-up dancer with JYP. He was obviously so super-talented and very popular. It must have been both annoying and yet terribly gratifying to hear the crowds screaming “Jung Ji-Hoon! Jung Ji-Hoon!,” instead of “JYP!, JYP!”
I mean think about it. I can imagine what it must have been like. JYP had to have known from the reactions of those crowds that he had totally hit the jackpot with Ji-Hoon, right? And I’ll just bet it was killing him…waiting for just the right moment, waiting for Rain’s fandom to be totally ripe, for the frenzy to build, before he turned him loose.
Gosh, that had to be an exciting time for both of them, don’t you think?

I so agree. WHERE were they looking to think he was ugly? I bet those people that said no to him back in the day are kicking themselves right now and have been since he got to be so big. The dude was never ugly… he just keeps getting better and better looking. Tsk…

You know…something distracted him right BEFORE the LOUD BANG, and I can’t figure out what it was. He stopped dancing, took off a bracelet he was wearing and put it in his pocket, took a few seconds to get himself back together… and then the BANG happened. Which totally blew him out of the water. And he kept looking off stage to his left, several times, before and after the BANG.
If only I knew Korean! I’m wondering if the voice-over reporter talking explained what had happened. But we’ll probably never know.
That was just strange, though. What did he keep looking at…

It scared the dancers, too. A few of them just stood there and looked around before trying to get back in the swing. I mean, you’ve got all these thugs from America running around backstage posturing and talking about popping caps in people and doing God knows what to shock folks, as usual, and then something like a cannon shot goes off right at you? Gah! Feets don’t fail me now!
On a better — hotter — note… boy, those were some REALLY GREAT chest pumps Rain was doing. Mmm-hmm. *sigh*
