Rain’s fleeting presence causes the Hongik University area to be set on fire.
Thousands of people flocked to Rain’s fleeting guerrilla date in which guessing his popularity was still smoking,
Rain participated in prerecording “Guerrilla Date”, one of the sections in KBS 2TV entertainment news ‘Yun Ye Ga Joong Gye’, near Hongick University, from 6pm, last 21st.
This “Guerrilla Date” began near the Hongdae subway station in Seoul City and was done for more than 2 hours, including an interview with him in a cafe near the entrance of the university.
As he made an appearance on the scene, thousands of people came out onto the streets to see him.
It was said that this caused the production crew and his agent’s officials to have such a hard time sorting out the mess.
Rain never lost his composure even in a somewhat dangerous situation where there was absolute mayhem when everyone gathered to see him at once.
He kept his composure in the crowd, dancing to the beat of his hit song ‘Rainism’ while his fans on the scene were singing the song together, which blasted out festive tunes to get the people in a jolly mood, despite the cold weather. He passionately danced to the crowd and was rewarded with an enthusiastic atmosphere.
An official from Rain’s agent expressed on the 22nd, “Rain was all touched by the love of his fans even in the cold weather. He’ll reward them with his activities which move closer to them.”
Meanwhile, Rain’ll meet his fans at his ‘Adieu 2010! With Rain’ concert in Jamshil Gymnasium, Seoul City, upcoming 31st.

Haha. The crowd saw the recognizable celebrity van sitting there, and were milling around wondering who the heck was in it and knowing something was up. They about died when it turned out to be RAIN. “Let me just get out and stand here for a minute…” JiHoon, that was an insane move! Hats off to you, buddy! 😀

i am seeing rain have that very HAPPY MOOD see him completely at ease today and evebody was suprise to see rain show to watch the Lunar Eclipes with all thoes fans as he show as an confident mood here and the grin of smile of rain really he just lift me up no matter what i feel of him or anything wrong with me he pull me up!! and i also notice they very give him a love when he show up not wild cray on rain either busybee1982 !! that is SO TURE ‘MARKET STATEGY’!!
gosh how i was step into that ‘MARKET STATEGY’ i wouls loss anything but to just stay their and look stand next to him and forget aboout what i am their for again!!!! ahahhaah i love this guy he is just so perfect mood time and place see the love and welcome him in that crowds woot that is deep bow for sure!!

He did look very relaxed and happy, like he does that everyday. Hopefully someone posts vids of him dancing like they mentioned in that one article. I’m glad he looks rested and stuff. He needed it!

Honestly, because of him almost being crushed against his van, and his arm damn near tore from the socket, wrenched to the point where he yelled out in PAIN (at that B2TB fan meet back on May 12 that scared the CRAP out of him AND us, the second meet that day, at the record store in MyungDong), I would say this was pretty gutsy of him. I so admire that.
That’s our ‘Hoon.
(He was so pissed. And we were so mad we wanted to choke his security to death. But looking at these fan cams seven months after, you would think that had never happened. Cool…!)

i see a skillfully excuted market strategy. this guy is amazing. perfect timing, perfect place (at a subway entrance/exit), perfect event (lunar eclips)….

Isn’t he though? The thought that went through my head when I first saw this yesterday was: “If anyone was having any doubts about Rain’s popularity, here is your proof.” Just by stepping out of a van in a busy area, he showed up all his naysayers, bad-mouthers and anti-fans. AND he did it with ease and gracefulness, making it look like it was nothing to just walk out there and hang out with his fans. You go, Ji Hoon!

Based on my reaction when he decided to tweet a few English tweets recently, I can’t imagine what I’d be like if I were there and he just steps out of the van like that. Either shakily frozen on the spot or fainted away lol.
He looks so relaxed, happy and refreshed! Love him to bits.

I am so happy that the people showed him alot of true love. You could tell that he was so happy and that he was really touched. It was written all over his face. I thought too that he was so composed. He did not seem to be scared. He seemed very much relaxed amongst all the screaming and picture taking fans.
