[ ETA: UPDATE] URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT RE: The CLOUD USA Christmas Box
[ETA: UPDATE! Great news, Clouds! The Christmas box has been CLEARED by South Korean customs, and is on its way once again to Rain. Delivery was attempted, but no one was home. The recipient of the box does know that it has gotten through customs though. Now that the holidays are upon us, I anticipate it will be Monday before FedEx can attempt delivery again. I will keep you updated as best I can. In the meantime, have a wonderful holiday with your friends and families. Many blessings to you all. Terri :-}]

It is just our luck that the Cloud USA Christmas Box has been held up at the South Korean customs office. Officials there are asking for a list of the contents of the box, as well as an itemization of the COST of all of the items in it, so they can determine if any tax money is due. :-{
Please send an e-mail to us at letitrain@cloudusa.org with the following information about the gift items that you sent to Rain:
- detailed gift item description
- How much you paid for EACH of the items that you sent, including the cards that you sent.
Also, if you can scan and e-mail us a copy of your receipts electronically, that would be VERY helpful, because I have a terrible feeling they are also going to ask for detailed proof of exactly what we paid, which means they are going to also want copies of your receipts.
We don’t want the box to be held up any longer than it has to be, so if you could please get all of that to me sometime today that would be WONDERFUL.
I have to not only provide the list, but it also has to be translated into KOREAN. Does anyone know anyone who can do that for us?

Wow, so glad the box was cleared. You know if he can’t get the box until after Christmas, that might not be too bad. He might be able to take a “breather” after his new year’s concert to sit down and really go through our gifts. Either way, I can’t wait until we know for sure. EXCITED!!

Well, the actual plan was to try to give him the box sometime at or right after the concert anyway. Not sure exactly what has been planned or how it’s going to go, but we are hoping the deliverer is going to send us some kind of account of who, what, when, where and how.
Whew. I really appreciate everything our contacts have been going through to get that box from customs. Ladies, you need to all send them lots of LOVE, please. You just don’t know. They are super spectacular people.

Well, the part I can mention (*wink, wink*) is that I got a nice big bottle of a fragrance called “Bouquet” by Vera Wang. One thing hubby knows is I’m a perfume and shoes kinda girl. He’s knows what I like pretty well, I rarely tell him what to get anymore.
I hope “Santa” brought my Cloud sisters what they wanted for Christmas!

Yes!!!!!!!!!!! That’s really good news!!!! For a moment there I thought Customs wouldn’t allow our box to go. Phew!!! Well, changing the subject now let me give you an update on my “Holiday Gift”. For the ones that don’t know I fell on Tuesday. The x-rays showed a fracture near my ankle sooo now I have a pretty pink cast on my left leg. It’s been difficult coz now I have to use a walker thingey to move around but I am doing ok. I can’t put my weight on my left foot for six weeks. Yeah, I know is a long time but I am ok and that’s what matters. I hope the bone close as it should coz if not, I have to go thru surgery and I really don’t want to do that. Well, that all for now. I am gonna read a lot, watch some korean series and finish writing the end of a new chapter in my futuristic/ romance series. Have a happy holidays!!!!! 😀

omg that is sooo crazy. i will get an email sent immdiately AND i will even scan my receipt for how much i paid for shipping if needed. now i have to find my receipt for my present but the price tag was still on it, but i will look but i definetly know the price though. wow sorry this had to happen. I will try to send everything asap but I am sorry it could take two days coz I fell and have a small fracture in my ankle. Gezz, there is no snow in Puerto Rico and I got to fall so close to Chrismas!!! I still can believe it!!
