One year ago this week… We were giving thanks for our families, our food, and our Raizo.

That’s right.  Not only were we all traveling, fixing Turkey Day dinners with all the trimmings, gathering the folks, and preparing our Christmas trees to go up across the U.S. of A… we were eagerly awaiting NINJA ASSASSIN’s November 19th premiere at legendary Grauman’s Theater in Hollywood, and darting into our local theaters in droves like ninja blurs when the movie hit our cities on November 25th.

What an exciting time that was!

So now, it’s a year later, another Thanksgiving holiday is upon us, and “Raizo” is celebrating the first anniversary of his first breath of life.

Thank you, Rain, for doing your very best and giving us a hero to cheer for in 2009.

Happy Thanksgiving to our Cloud USA community and to Rain fans across the world!  Hold your loved ones close.  Peace and goodwill to you all this Holiday Season.

  1. I must say when my son asked to see Ninja Assiasans I was not to egar to let him watch but he knew things regarding the movies so I told him I would watch it first before I allowed him to see it. I’m not really into that type of movie but as I began to watch I noticed that great looking Korean guys and thought wow who in the heck is Rain? Google is my friend and I began my quest for knowlege of him. I found this site and love the fact that I’m not alone in this. This is an awesome site and I look foward to more in the future.

  2. I pray everyone had a very happy Thanksgiving.
I thought I’d share my Raizo Thanksgiving story.
So everyone has eaten all their stomachs can hold
and its movie time. Mind you I am the only female
in the house. The males include my 2 brothers and
4 nephews ages 15-18. Ninja Assassin is the movie
unanimously chosen out of the five or so I had available
including Karate Kid and The Last Airbender.

At the first bare chest Raizo scene the male admiration
began to flow. One of my brother’s said he had to have eaten close to nothing to obtain his physique and the other
brother said he probably had 1% body fat(he was close).
Even though I knew the facts I kept quiet, Rain is my
guilty pleasure and I’m not sharing :-). One brother is
a movie realist and debated Raizo’s ability to fight off
the other ninjas single handedly but by the end of the
movie he was a believer. It was a great Thanksgiving and
    a great Raizo/NA moment.

    • Thank you for sharing your story, Dee. 🙂

How wonderful it is to read this! And you deserve a HUGE pat on the back for holding in any “family influencing” you might have done and letting your loved ones react naturally. Hahaha.

Critics and the media would have everyone believe that the public had no love at all for Ninja Assassin, which is nothing but a bald-faced lie. Glad you had a great and safe Thanksgiving.
