This will ALWAYS be a treasure to us — this precious 2001 Music Plus footage where JiHoon was introduced to the world as 비, an extraordinary dance talent under JYP, nearly a year before he would debut with his first album and become immortalized by his extraordinary voice. Can you even imagine a time when JiHoon wasn’t a singing icon?
And it would be years later, after his second album dropped, before he began marketing himself with the English version of his Korean stage name… Rain.

Great video. I love seeing all aspects of Rain’s career but it’s really nice to see these early beginning videos. You can see he had that certain something way back then.

Wow I have never seen this. You can tell Rain was going to be a big star even then. He had that strong star commanding presence on stage even then. He difinitly was shining on that stage.

yes i agree i show this vid wild back and it get my attetion know who rain is back with JYP G.O.D. group he still have unique dancer during back then and i never thought rain have such muti talen in his nody dance & move either his very have such gift from his mother a world prouds to pursuit in his singer & dancing even it back then but he still our rain i glad all the dertermind of his dancing everday have bout rrain up to world bi and world fans named him …rain… this how all stated and i am so happy to be his could and fans he is an eye watching person and speacil to other i very love my boy !!

There isn’t a part of his body that Rain does not move while dancing. Love to see these older videos that show Rains beginnings. Even though it was so early in his career you can tell that there is something unique and special about him.
And no I can’t imagine a time without Rain, I would never want to. 🙂
