[spoilers] RAINY DAY Season 2, episode 42.

Right in the midst of ZEPPing… we change direction and run and run like a fugitive! Rain was filming Runaway/Fugitive and doing the Rain Love Tour at the same time in Japan, remember?
Now, I was very happy spending quality time with ZEPP Tokyo, y’all know that, what with all the babbling and going on I’ve been doing these past weeks. But I tell you, when MBLAQ’s “Running & Running” replaced “Hip Song” as the episode’s sub-opening theme, I jumped up and screamed. I can’t get enough of JiWoo as it is, and here I’ve got some more of him. And the congregation said AMEN! Heheheh.
So, we start off behind the scenes on the Fugitive: Plan B set, as the scene shown in episodes 3 and 4 (at Kieko’s Yakuza boss daddy’s compound) is being put together. The standoff between the Korean cops and the bad guys over JiWoo and JinYi is imminent. This is also the scene where JiWoo’s “Lady first…!” move becomes infamous. LOL!
You can tell that Director Kwak is in his element here, as things get underway. So cool.
Oops! JungJin busts his butt on the ground off camera while the standoff is still being filmed across the hedges. ROFL!
Next stop: Saitama Super Arena, where (fictional) famous Japanese singer Kieko has a huge concert, and where the boyfriend she dearly loves — JiWoo — and her crime lord father are in her presence together for the first time. Kieko is oblivious and doesn’t know what JiWoo does or what dear daddy does either. But the two men recognize each other instantly and things are not good. Ha!
But I digress… let me get back on track.
We get to see Rain and the stunt men stage the big fight where JiWoo smacks down the mafia minions during the concert. Woahhh… ♥ JiHoon looks so good. Awwww… he takes a moment to greet the fans who are there as extras. ♥ ♥ (Is this going to be another three-heart episode? We’ll see!)
Poor baby wore himself out battling all those henchmen, but got to take a breather and watch the scene playback, thank goodness. Then it’s time for another take, and gee, his pants are fitting really nicely… *shaking my head to get back on track again*
Wha — oh, no! Not a groin pull…! Youch! I got one of those in the dojo once while learning a roundhouse kick. OMG. I did not move for the remainder of the class. Even my sensei (teacher) took pity on me. But then again, with the way Rain was pounding his hip with a fist… could have been just a bad muscle spasm. I don’t know how much editing was involved here, but if he got back up that quickly, a groin pull is highly unlikely unless you’re Superman. Or Batman. *wink*
Yeah, he seems to be favoring the outside of his hip and leg, and in true JiHoon fashion, works right on through the pain. Like I said. Superman. 🙂
And that’s a wrap, folks! Later, Kieko’s scenes will be added through the magic of editing (including Kieko and JiWoo’s tender onstage hug) and Director Kwak will call it a day.

Oh I love that they’re showing Fugitive filming now. Seems so much more personal than it was when they were doing the concert. Plus we get to see him be silly and look so hot doing all those fight scenes and stuff. He looks so good here doesn’t he? So glad he got to become such good friends with his co-workers and director. They all seem like family.

That kind of thing does tends to happen on really intense projects like movies or theatrical productions. And it’s always a little sad when you finally have to say goodbye once it’s a wrap.
Of course, you do keep in touch with those you’ve grown the closest with, but it’s just not the same as seeing everyone day in, day out. But eventually, you move on to your next project and you make more friends/family and do it all over again. So, it ends up being okay. :-}

I like that they put this on Rainy Day so people know how difficult it is to do all those stunts. Rain is doing an awesome job and he looks so good in the series that we forget how much it takes from his body to do this kind of work. The poor man is breathless and it takes not one but several takes for a perfect scene. No wonder he lost weight; those first episodes where grueling non stop action and multiply that for maybe three or four takes and you have a breathless man ready to drop. I wish people appreciate Rain’s effort the only way he deserve and that is seeing the series.

I love love love this drama. Felt so bad when he didn’t come back up after that last flip and was hurt. He is such a professional because he didn’t make a big deal about it and got right back to work. Always knew he did this and was a very hard worker and it is just amazing to see it.

i love how he use his own trubo fighting experince and the man very did his own stun !!
even it so hot under weather but rain very give all his 110% of his worrk !!
of what i see their nothing to regert about this rain he truly a amazing megastar !
DAM !! when coming to fighthing he just remind a Bruce LEE & Jackie Chan no wonder he remind alot priase for his acting coz, he truly outstanding natural stun to be !
also not to mention he hardwoking person of sweat and blood but one thing he never forget who he from rain ALWAY!! greet his fans at alway no wondering he have such a good connection and good relationship with all his national fans !!

poor thing he so exhuasted breathing out hard it mush be so hot inside yeah it like he runing and excewries here but, rain is laying after the fighthing gosh rain scare me a min he leg seeme to numb just a bad muscle spasm i think so too !! coz that that why all director and cool cast love rain coz, they see how stable he is and suceed to his working abiltlites.
and yea AMEN !! to jiwoo for all that dicated work to his stun neverless he is NUMBER #1 fist ahaha
