Yes, Cloud USA is pleased to announce that we have decided to send a Christmas box to Rain.
One of Rain’s top supporters has agreed to accept delivery of the box from Cloud USA and is planning to deliver the box to Rain’s management/staff at Rain’s Adieu Concert, on December 31. If that can’t be done, then the box will be delivered directly to J.Tune. Cloud USA will be paying the postage for the box to be delivered to Rain.

Please do not wrap your gifts. Please understand that if you send us a wrapped gift, your gift will still be unwrapped and inspected for customs purposes. Cloud USA plans to wrap all of the gifts in Cloud USA wrapping paper created especially for this project.
Please send your gift as early as you can to allow us adequate time to pack and ship the box. The box will be mailed to Asia on Saturday, December 11 (or Monday, December 13, depending on the number of gifts we need to pack). Any gifts received after the deadline will NOT be included in the box and the sender will be contacted to coordinate return shipping.

Yay! It made it to you on time. Alot of those little things were items I have been stockpiling for awhile because I didn’t know if Rain would get things mailed to JTune. JS is my friend who has recently become a Rain Fan! She had the great idea of sending something showing the art of our local indigenous tribe. She has strong connections to them. I haven’t seen what she sent so I look forward to seeing your pictures!

Yay! I tracked my package and it’s on time to be delivered Friday. Woop woop!
I didn’t get to send a card… I bought one but, sadly, I procrastinated on sending it and it’s still sitting here. I’m just happy I’m not missing out on this. If I send you guys an email with what I wanted to say in my card, will you guys print it out and include it with my gift??
BTW, this idea is like the best idea ever. I think you guys are the greatest for doing this, as well as everything else you guys do. I’m so excited for Rain to get his gifts! Ladies let me try to help with your gifts. When I decided to send a gift to Rain I started to think about what he likes. What is that? Well, music coz he always takes an Ipod with him; something that he couldn’t find anywhere else but your hometown, something from your heart like a special note for him; not to long and with simple english coz remember that english is not his first language. I also thought about something that he can use like a cap from your area or a tshirt or something you specially made for him. Those are the things that he can value coz they are special and unique. But most of all give him your heart so he knows that you love him very much. Remember that those ratings for Fugitive were not what they expected so he needs a little extra from us to keep him warm this holydays. I hope this helps.

@aprilshowers07, don’t feel bad. What I sent is not an expensive gift and could be considered cheesy too. However, I think Ji-Hoon will/should appreciate whatever is coming from all of us, because they are gifts from the heart. Personally, I have a hard time shopping for someone I don’t know on a more personal level because I like to give gifts that I know “fits the personality” of that particluar individual, so it’s hard when you don’t know someone like that. Sended my gifts today ladies!!! Lord, I hope they get on time. The mail office said that it should get there by Tuesday or Wenesday so it has two days to spare. Oh, I am soooo excited!!!!! I would love to be there when he receive the box to see his reaction. Lol I hope he likes what I sended to him. Agh!!!!!! This is sooo cool!!!! Never done this before for any performer. Only Rain. Heck, I never joined a fans site before. Lol. I am totally insane because of Rain but I have never felt this happy and this alive before sooo I guess is a good thing I am insane.

I know what you mean. The idea of sending a celebrity (who can buy anything that he wants anyway) a gift has NEVER crossed my mind–until now for Rain. I still haven’t a clue why Rain is different. It makes absolutely NO sense to me at all. None.
But who cares? Like you said, we’re having fun, and being a “fan-girl” for Rain makes me smile. So, what the heck does it matter?
Let me answer that. It doesn’t matter. Not at all. Life’s all about love and living and connecting in some small way with the people around you. So, if you can do something that supports all of that and have a great time while doing it, then all the better, I always say. :-}

We are going to take pictures of the Christmas box and gifts, but I’m not sure what we’ll be doing with those yet because unfortunately this year we just don’t have time to do anything extensive. 1 i was thinking is good idea if u add all the list from here all CloudUSA in one booklet or staple them put it together so rain will know where it from and he can be more specific from us in his heart!!
2 hey guy we can also make a small project like his concert pict or fugitive pict of rain their and add some direcration and greeting on him on this threw out the years and send it along with the gifts showing him how amazing he give all his best of his perforamce and drama i know rain will fell good about this what u rhink??

I think they are good ideas.
I was already planning to send along a list of everyone who had a gift or card inside the box. I’m considering adding the Forum members, we’ll see… and maybe the blog subscribers who are regular commenters (only because subscribers who don’t comment are ID’d only by their email addresses, and sending that information anywhere would be irresponsible).
As far as the small project you suggested goes, like I said, it is a terrific idea so long as it’s not too large, and what needs to happen is one of you or several of you get together and make it happen, and send it on to us, because Terri and I (and the rest of the staff) simply don’t have the time to do anything more than what we’ve got on our plates right now.

o wow this is exciting. i want to send something very special and to show him he has fans all the way in kansas n missouri. hes probably never heard of those states but thats okay. after he serves his 2 years he goin to jump (i hope) over to america to do tv shows n movies and become extremely big. ill have people saying “april u were a fan of him two years ago b4 he was big over here/” n ima be like YEP!! ive got impeciable taste darling…lol but newho hell be doin shows at the Sprint center not too far in the future everything happens in due time. thanks so much for this opportunity ladies!

That is sooo cool!!!! I must admit that I was sad coz I could not go to his Adeu Concert but this gives me the oppportunity to send him something before he goes to the military. I think is going to be a tough time for him, man, I hope not, but anyway is a great idea. I am soo excited!!! I am planning to send him a post card of my family and me with a beautiful background of a place in Puerto Rico so he can see it and maybe a cap. I would love to see his face when he open it. Probably would said, “Where is this place?” LOL Thank you ladies for making this possible for us!!!! 😀

No kidding. That was the question Stephe and I had to ask ourselves: What DO you get a guy who can have anything he wants? And the only thing we could think of was FAN LOVE–pieces of our hearts.
We thought it would be best to give him something that would tell him more about US, his English-speaking Clouds, because, although we know a heck of a lot about him by now, honestly, what does he really know about any of US. Not much at all.
I can tell you that if I were a celeb, then that is what I’D want to receive from my fans–not expensive gifts that I didn’t really need, but gifts from their hearts–cards or small, inexpensive gifts that told me a little bit about the fans from which they came, things that helped me to feel a little less alone in this world.
And we thought he also might enjoy receiving one bigger box filled with lots of different Cloud USA gifts, as opposed to having to deal with all of our gifts coming in separately. Might save him some precious time, at least.

Hopefully, I’m understanding your question.
If you would like for us to send your gift and cards in the Cloud USA box, along with all of the other Cloud USA members’ gifts, then send it to us at our address at Cloud USA and we will put it in the big box and send it to our contact in Korea.
If you want to send something to Rain separately yourself, that’s fine. Do what you wish.

@terri or stephe are all Rain’s fans called Clouds? Or are you only a Cloud if you join the official fan club? Can anyone send a card and/or gift or is it only for Clouds?
By the way I think this is an awsome ideal. This is one of the most sweetest thing a fan could do for an artist. Rain has some of the best caring fans an artist can have.

Yes, that is the official name for Rain’s fans across the Kpop world — Clouds. He once said, “If there are no clouds, there is no rain” about the relationship between himself and his fans.
When you join the official fan club in Korea or in Japan (by paying membership dues), you are officially recognized by The Cloud. However, you don’t have to be official to consider yourself or call yourself a Cloud. Supporting Rain with integrity and to the best of your ability is all that’s required for that. 🙂
Honestly, there are regular Rain fans, and Rain Clouds (unofficial), and Clouds (official), several different degrees of folks who like Rain and his work, as is natural. (for instance, a regular Rain fan will patron his albums or his other works and be quite content with only that, whereas a Rain Cloud or Cloud would think nothing of spending hours voting for him for an award, or traveling 1000s of miles for a concert.) This Christmas Box isn’t only for Clouds — it’s for any fan who wishes to send him love, encouragement, and good will this holiday season.
