As far as we know…
The Cloud fan site is having site problems and they are trying to fix whatever is wrong. In the meantime, some of us will be able to access it while some of us will not be able to connect to their server at all. So stay tuned.
RAINBOX is still being worked on and readied for opening — don’t know why but they must have run into problems and it’s obviously not ready yet. Obviously. So just stay tuned.

There are differing reports, but as far as we know, they’re selling just fine.

TT.TT I have to work Dec 31st. Winter camp for the kiddies.
-.- I am going to the F*****’ concert. I paid and I already booked the hotel. Even if I have to go to Seoul on the 30th to check in and make my way back in time for work the next morning. I WILL FIND A WAY!

I’m still getting the White Screen of Death only, with that weird message on it.
But seeing as now we know it’s because of site problems on The Cloud, I’ll just wait until they get a handle on whatever it is — no prob.

I just checked The Cloud. The site is opening for me normally now, but there’s also an error message that pops up and reads something like this:
“We are currently experiencing a little error. We hope to have it fixed soon.”

It did this to me last night and I tried 3 times finally it opened and I had to re-enter my password, but I just know tried again and white screen is staying? 😦

There may be something wrong with some overseas servers. Accessing Rain Europe and a few other sites brings up a white screen as well…

just a word of “caution” about Ebay items, folks. i’m sure most items are legit, but not long ago, i ran across what was advertised as a “Korean celebrity” photo book. the seller had gathered photos from across the net and compiled them into a book and was selling it without approval from the artists. that was around the time JTune requested help from fans to protect Rain’s copyright (i asked about this item/and why it had not been announced to fans to purchase through JTune) that’s how i found out it was not a legal sale. so when/if you do use Ebay for bidding on used items, be sure it’s legit. and i might add, if you see something suspicious, please report it to JTune so they can put a stop to someone trying to make money off Rain without his consent.

Yes, absolutely use caution when purchasing items on Ebay, that goes for ALL items. I have an Ebay account and I used to frequent Ebay more often than I do now. Seller feeback status is the only real indicator as to how your experience is likely to be. You can also ask the seller questions via email prior to purchasing/bidding on any item. Personally, I have a price point that I will not go beyond when bidding or purchasing anything on Ebay. I have ALSO been HAD on Ebay by a seller once, however through Paypal’s mediation process I got my money back. However, I put the Rain info. out there in case someone wanted to check it out, but you have to BE SMART about making ANY purchase especially those from overseas. All in all Ebay can be a fun place to get gift ideas from and if you know how to work an Ebay bid you can get a lot of cool stuff. I have a closet full to prove it……….(SMILES). Then I got put on “lock down” by my financial manager (husband). (SMILES)

This is a random post….but for those of you who may frequent Ebay like I used to, there are quite a few Rain items up for sale on Ebay the U.S. side and also Ebay Korea. There are quite a few autographed CDs. If anyone is familiar with his signature then you can judge for yourself if they are authentic and also pay attention to the seller’s feedback (100% positive is a great thing) or close to it.
Check out item (370344813859), when the pic is big you get a clear view of the autograph. The bid price on most of the autographed items is a little steep for my taste (especially if you want me to bid on anything). I like to start low then aim high……(SMILES). Might make some cool Christmas gifts for some fellow “Rainiacs” like us. Just FYI Clouds!

Ok so let me tell you why I’m annoyed. I live in Morris County, NJ close to my job, which is a really nice area of NJ. I was just thinking about how, before I moved down here a few yrs. ago, I used to live close to NYC in a place called Ridgefield, NJ, which was close to my job at the time. I remember there was a large Asian community there, with a few huge (HUGE) shopping centers down the way for Asians but I never gave it any thought at the time. I never had the desire to go into the stores but my friend and I used to drive by and have a chuckle everytime because one was called HMart, like KMart. There were areas that had mostly Asian street signs and everything. We always used to marvel at how many Asians lived around there. I just googled Korean communities in NJ and guess where the largest Korean community is? You guessed it! Right where I used to live.
How frickin’ annoying is that? If I’d known at the time, I would’ve been all up and through those stores and been to the restaurants they have around there to sample the cuisine. I bet they have some Rain merchandise in those stores. The HMart IS supposed to be like a Korean version of Kmart. Sadly, it’s about an hour drive away from where I live now. I could still go but it would be a trek, especially when there’s traffic. It can take more than an hour to get there.
The reason why I thought to look it up is because I’ve noticed at my job that there’s ALWAYS a ton of Asian people walking around. Since I got into Rain and started watching a lot of Korean dramas and stuff, I started to recognize the language while people are speaking. I became curious and wanted to see if there is a Korean community around here so I can go visit. The closest thing I’ve found is the area where I used to live. I’m still wondering though… I’ll have to do more research.

Yes, H-Marts do sell groceries, but they sell other things too. For example, the H-Mart Stephe and I recently visited (sadly to say for the first time) also had a small shop in it that sold (and rented) CDs, DVDs and books. And they had a HUGE selection of K-Dramas there. I bought a couple of CD’s. They even had several copies of Back to the Basic too.
I highly recommend a trek to your local Asian community for Rain (and other K-Pop) stuff. It is MUCH more satisfying, frankly, than shopping on the Internet.

There is an HMart north of Seattle, too. A ferry ride across the water for me, but every time I go over, I try to make a trip by there for some yummy ingredients. BTW, can’t get those small super-sweet swett potatoes anywhere else. Ours also has a CD/DVD store, some stores with clothing & cosmetics, a mail center (I mailed Rain’s Ninja Assassin banner from there) a cream puff place and a food court with several restaurants. Well worth the trip!
