G.O gives Rain’s Love Story a spin.
I’ve been in love with G.O’s voice for a good while now. (His cover for Stevie Wonder’s “Lately” made me dang-near pass out, no joke.) So it’s no surprise to me that he was able to sing Rain hyung‘s “Love Story” so well, when no one else would have half a chance with any song tailored to Rain’s magnificent voice. Especially this one—Love Story is a HARD song to sing.
This video was just uploaded and I’m not sure when G.O’s appearance on this show happened (has he regrown his mustache? because if not, this was sometime past), but it’s a true delight to be able to watch it. Thanks for sharing, MBLAQ Latino!

G.O’s cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Lately.” (Unfortunately this is an abbreviated version of the full version I first saw, and this does NOT give that full version justice, honestly.) He has some good pipes, and if he continues training them and working really hard, one day he’s going to be just killer. Bumkey of Twins did a hell of a job with “Lately” as well, holee molee.
(now if only RAIN would do it one time, just for kicks, just so we could hear the awesomeness of THAT… OMG could we even stand it?? LOL!)

Now this is much better!!! He is getting into the song with passion and it shows. In a few years G. O is gonna be amazing. His voce is really good so what he really has to work on is in reflecting the feeling of the song. Great video.

Gee, ladies. The whole idea was: Didn’t G.O do a nice job paying homage to Rain? NOT: Who sings this song better, G.O or Rain?
‘Cause quite frankly it is a no-brainer.

He did a great job, yes, his voice is beautiful but he is not Rain. I am sorry but Rain’s voice reflects a sensual, deep feeling that G. O. don’t have yet. Rain’s voice is like no other; he is like no other singer and G.O. is gonna be a great performer but he needs more feeling. Heck, I don’t know how to explain myself!! Gahhh!!! Rain is a man and his voice tells you so. There.

this looks like it is from a year ago when they debuted. Don’t know why I’ve never seen it. Love Story is my favorite Rain song and G.O.’s voice is to die for. Thanks for sharing. I miss the mustache!
