Ladies I have a question that I’ve been curious about since I herd it. JiHoon’s nickname is it collie or puppy I’ve herd both but not sure which it is and also why? I mean puppy is really cute but we are given nicknames for a reason and I’m just curious why he got his.

Rain has two nicknames: Woody (after the character in Toy Story), and yes, puppy (or dog, or collie… and puppy/collie/dog are used interchangeably because the Korean word for “puppy” probably translates as “collie” and “dog” as well. (Every Korean word I’ve run into so far translates into a gazillion different things depending on the context you use it in, the region of the country, the inflection in your voice, etc.) In other words, collie and puppy are BOTH correct.
His best friends and hyungs gave him his nicknames, and to my knowledge, none of them have said why (must be a private thing).
May be something to do with loyalty.

this may be a little off topic, but i’m wondering does anyone here know anything about Benamoo (Rain’s other fansite in Korea)? is there communication between Rain The Cloud? i’m just curious whether or not the fansites there work together at times or not.
i visited that site and they seem to have over 74,000 members yet i never hear anything about them or read of any projects from them. are they a real fansite or what? are there other fansites for him there? just wondering.

I’ve always wondered about Benamoo, but have never been able to find anything in English about them. All I know is that they are massively huge, some super fan club like you said, and that they’ve given to charity in Rain’s name in the past…
Though they are in Korea, isn’t the word “benamoo” Japanese?
I would love to know more.

Finished Sandoo and can’t remember when I’ve cried so hard, I couldn’t breath my eyes were all swollen dang JiHoon was amazing in this! and that little girl was so adorable awe. And also just for future references ladies not everyone has seen all of Rain’s shows so it’s not fare to give away the blots. I for one since I have seen all his stuff now won’t do that to another cloud.

Sangdoo was a very powerful drama, I thought.
Actually ALL of Rain’s dramas are powerful. He does such a great job choosing projects, I think. Even the American ones, which didn’t do that well at the box office–but SHOULD have. (Unfortunately, American audiences are like sheep sometimes…and they can’t think outside the box…)

I agree Sangdoo was an amazing and powerful drama and he did so wonderfully in portraying the character. He is so good in everything that he does, and he deserves it because he works to hard at everything. I hate to see that he is going through all of the drama right now and it’s just getting worse with others coming forward against him. I wish him all the best and will always believe in JiHoon. Fighting!

According to the drama production on the 1st, KBS 2TV’s drama series ‘The Fugitive Plan B’ has currently surpassed $ 4 million in exports, as it is well received not only by Korea but by Asian countries such as Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, etc.
The export price is estimated at least more than $200,000 per episode of ‘The Fugitive Plan B’.
‘The Fugitive Plan B’ has been sold at a higher price than that of MBC TV’s ‘Queen Sun-Duk’ ($145,000 per episode), one of 2009’s big hit dramas. That is up nearly 38% from ‘Queen Sun-Duk’
Not only has ‘The Fugitive Plan B’ that has become the talk of the showbiz, been sold for the highest price to Taiwan and the Philippines in Korean drama history, but it has also received good reviews from the media throughout Asia, including Japan, because ‘The Fugitive Plan B is occupied by sought-after actors such as ‘Lee Na Young’, ‘Lee Jung Jin’, ‘Daniel Henney’, and ‘Sung Dong Il’, including world star Rain (Jung Ji Hoon), and shows splendid sights that are rare in TV dramas.

@ Kongsao, Thanks for posting!!! Those are excellent news, specially when The Fugitive is getting sooo good!!! Do you know what rattings did the series got last week? Those episodes where amazing!! I am soo excited with the rollercoaster of a plot they are giving us. Rain was magnificent in episode 9, way better than anything I have watch before even from his series. I almost fall of my chair with his acting. This time he got the ball out of the park. Gotta love him, if he don’t get an award for these I will be royally piss coz he is giving all.

check mate CloudUSA…i said in another place, this drama is s big puzzle. folks got confused after only watching a few episodes, but those were only introducing the players and revealing the parts to the puzzle. kdramas don’t give instant gratification. at some point i’m going to have to watch Slave Hunter because i like what the writers are doing with Fugitive so far. good stuff.

@diva….yeah, i’m floored and terribly excited about the turn this drama is making. love every bit of it from beginning up to now. i think the writers have fooled a whole lot of watchers, i love this kind of stuff.
as for the NA pic. this man looks luscious anyway you look at it. and i really do like him with long hair, heck any hair!

Oh also watching Sandoo now started last night and I have a question, How in the world do some Koreans get their hair so dang kinky? They must have baby fine hair to do that, no joke? Even dreads? What’s up? I absolutely love it the different cultural influences in their country, I see why JiHoon loves his country so much, they are all the same orientation but they don’t look like it. Its the coolest thing I would love to visit his country (not just for him) I know shocking huh?
