Can any of you tell me what you thought of Rain’s english scene in the Fugitive with Daniel Henny? I would never said something ugly about my (good friend in my mind) Rain but that scene sucked. His voice is naturally deep and when he spoke in that scene, well’ll without saying what I felt, I’ll just say it sucked. I just need to know is it just me.

Uh…I think you just said exactly what you feel by declaring that “it sucked…” Bottom line, that was Rain speaking English. So its not perfect. Lets just roll with it and move forward. We know he’s working on it, right?

LOL. I did notice that, in several places, the tone of his voice in English sounded a little goofy.
All I have to say is that he doesn’t sound like that as Raizo in Ninja Assassin. And he knew even less English back then.
So, I’m thinking that his goofy English in Fugitive is part of Ji-Woo’s characterization, just like the goofy expressions and his idiocy around women.
And in Episode 5 (or 6–can’t remember which) there was a place where he spoke English and sounded pretty normal, during a more serious moment. Does anyone remember where that was? I’d go back and look, but I don’t wanna use 10 points.

I did see the scene you were talking about and yes he did sound more normal. I know he doesn’t speak English that well and it’s proably part of his character to talk like that. I am sorry I said something about it. It’s that even in his English songs he sounds so confident and smooth. I know when it’s time for him to be in another American Movie he will be smooth and natural in his speech.

I went on tour this weekend to all the important magazines; Elle, Cosmo, Vogue, Glamour and even Men’s Health to ask them to put in their US and Latin America editions interviews, picts, and info about Rain. I explained in their “contact us” site that Rain got fans not only in Asia but here in the US and Latin America too. Also, I talked about Cloud USA and Cloud Peru and said I was a member. I hope they pay attention coz I am tired of looking for Rain in magazzines in this side of the ocean and coming empty handed. Lets see if this pays off but it will be great if some of other Clouds do the same so they understand that we want Rain in their magazzines. Kimchi Fighting!!!

Good job, mari. That’s the only way we’ll get anywhere with something like that… by making some Rain noise.
I so hope other Peruvian Clouds there and here will join you. Please keep us up to speed on how it goes, and don’t give up.

Hey Stephe and Terri… Just wanted to let you guys know the forum site has been acting up lately. It won’t even load a lot of the time, mostly during the day. I think it started around this past Wednesday. I know of at least one other person that has noticed it also.

For my part, yeah, it has been a very tiresome week full of activities. But I always come to relax in here. I may not post if I am in a hurry but always check this page for anything new. I need my fix of Rain every day. LOL

So I was watching the “Memory in My Hand” commercial… All that to sell a phone? Don’t get me wrong. Both the vid and song are HOT, and the whole “girl blinded by camera flash learns to dance” theme is quite interesting. It just seems like an awful lot of effort just to market a phone. Then again, I suppose we would not have this hot vid w/that hot warehouse dance scene if Pantech had not gone to such efforts. Ok, I stop my complaining now. ^_^

You know… I actually like that they make such different commercials in Korea. I love the Memory in my Hand cf and also really love his other long commercials, the BMW Meets Truth “Still Believe” commercial and ESPECIALLY the Any Dream cf. We get to see Rain’s talent showcased in such interesting ways. How could we not like it? 🙂

Actually I reaaaaallly love the BMW Meets Truth cf a LOT. When I first saw it I realized Rain could dance his a_s off and made me want to delve further into his backstory. Before that I was only paying attention to his newer stuff.

Yea to me! I just got my back to the basic album n dvd delievered to me! I ordered tht cd on aug 28th n the dang us post office jus now sent to me. Now ive got this one n rainism special ed. 2 down 5 more to go! im also buying points to watch the fugitive! Oh I love u rain baby!

Ohhhh that’s great!!! Not long ago I received my first cd of Rain and was amazing. Wait till you see Rainism package, is beeautiful and not like the US cds that we are used to. I was so excited and still get chills thinking about it. Rain put so much effort in each cd that you feel cherish by it. He is the best. Love ya Rain!!!!

Oh I was shocked when I saw the casing for his CDs. The B2TB. Packaging was awesome and Rainism was unexpected as well. I’m lookin forward to the others. I think I’ll get Eternal Rain next.

On my back to the basic dvd it was the video for love song and the love song and hip song performances from his comeback stage on mnet. the hip song performance is the one he did in the white hoodie and the love song one was were he was gettin real sexy with the grinding with his shirt off n there was fire in the background. i also love how the camera was all up on his chest! A freakin mazing!!!
