I’m sorry I’m so old on some of these I’ve be vacationing and my family is sick to death of my JiHoon affection, and I tell everyone I talk to about him I show pictures of him his dancing and talk about his movies and he does have more fans but with some they can’t get past the language and then I whip out the english video’s and then their pretty much hooked! Hahahahaha but I’m so so sorry now that I’ve seen this thread (getting better) I need to tell more about cloudusa for the life of me I don’t know why I forgot, I LOVE ALL YOU LADIES! So Much Fun Here and your teaching me so much, and I’ve so much about Rain/JiHoon. Now I have to back track and re-group.

Hello lovely, Clouds.
I have a question for all of you. I’ve been thinking about this subject for some time, but I didn’t know quite how or where to approach everyone about it. Finally, I decided that the best place to ask my question was in an open thread. So, here’s my question.
I was just wondering. How are you all promoting Rain wherever YOU live? Especially those of you who live here in the U.S.A.?
I mean, I know we joke a lot about how our families and friends react to our fanaticism over the guy. And I really think that most of us are doing our part to build Rain a larger fan base wherever we are located. But I just started wondering. What exactly are you doing in your part of the world to spread the news about this incredibly talented individual?
I mean I know what Stephe and I are doing. We speak very freely about Rain and Cloud USA to our families, friends, and co-workers. We buy/play his music. We buy/talk up his movies. We do many things to help promote the cause. We invite inquirers to visit Cloud USA.
But maybe there is something we are missing?
Is there something special that YOU are doing where YOU live that might help us get the word out about Rain to MORE people? If so, please let us all know about it.
And by the way…THANK YOU to all of our Cloud USA members who make this place so much fun to visit. We are glad that you are part of Cloud USA and we are especially grateful for your loyalty and commitment to Rain.
Each and every single one of you are special to me and Stephe. You really are. And I just wanted you all to know that too.

Well here in Puerto Rico you got to mention NA or Speed Racer so people can remember who he is. I am trying to appeal to my girls friends and some friends of mine to see his series and videos but is a slow process. What I am doing now is showing some videos of him and pics in my phone, the one half naked. LOL They impress people a lot but is difficult to get them to the forum cause no matter what I said, that’s a personal decision. But will keep trying, that’s for sure.

I have probably way too much Rain-associated stuff up on my myspace page (www.myspace/reddrogue). Rain is listed at the top of my music section, followed by the CloudUSA widget that links to the blog, and the Rain-USA mini-banner that links there. This is followed by a little gif that I made at gifsoup.com from the Manila concert. Oh yeah, and right now the current playlist is all Rain, so the site automatically plays Hip Song when u pull it up. In the grand scheme of my little myspace page, it really isn’t that much stuff, but I think it’s enough for a page that is not specifically designed to promote Rain. Oh, and there’s the occasional vid that I embed from youtube. Right now its the one u guys posted w/the I’m Coming/Smooth Criminal megamix (because that one is SO great!). Uh…what else? Oh, I have one of the Domanja teasers posted up there in my TV section, which I have also posted on my facebook page. I have also posted tons of Rain vids on facebook. I know ppl who know me are prob thinking i am a fanatic, but they’d be right, so it’s ok. ^_^
Hmm…Rain pics on my PC desktop at work, and playing Rain music all day long. A co-worker commented yesterday “you have a different pic of that guy up on your screen everyday.” Yes. Yes indeed. Also took Back to the Basic to work so my female co-workers could also enjoy the beauty that is Rain. Which they totally did! (kekeke – FAR away from the boss’ office).
Blasting Rain as I drive through the streets all the time.
At this point, i think i am doing almost as much as i can in my mundane daily life to promote my fav artist, but if anyone out there has other ideas, I’d love to hear them. Hmm…I guess I could start giving his CD’s as gifts… ! let me write that down! ^_^

has anyone checked our KBS news lately? it is reported that thousands have lost their homes and several folks are missing due to extra heavy downpours. seems this has happened in low lying communities. 2000 in Seoul and 1000’s in other parts of the country. let’s hope for the best.

Presently, the only way to post a pic in your comments here on the blog is to include the link to wherever it is, and have people go directly to it (that’s a WordPress thing, there’s no way to have the pic show up here except in an actual post). Just copy the page’s URL… and paste.
The same goes for videos. Look underneath the video of your choice (usually on YouTube) for the share button, copy and paste that URL link (or the URL up in your address bar, if there is no share option), and submit your comment. Usually WordPress will automatically turn your link into the video itself… but if it’s being temperamental and doesn’t do that, at least we can all follow your link manually.

There’s a photo of Bi and a woman labeled as a staffer on Fugitive625 blog. I like it, they look might “cozy” as I stated in the comments, especially Bi (SMILES). This particular pic seemed to stir up a little controversy. It was suggested that the photo was photoshopped (I don’t personally believe it was, you can see his hand on her shoulder).

We saw that pic and we have purposefully NOT posted it because something about it does look a little fishy. However, there is another pic with the same staffer that does NOT look photoshopped that we may decide to post soon.
Until we can confirm that the photo has NOT been photoshopped, PLEASE do NOT post it on Cloud USA.

Most of you probably already realize that Cloud USA is somewhat selective with our news. We don’t always post every single news item we find on the Rain Blogosphere. There are reasons for that.
This picture is simply one of those things that we decided not to post. If we find that it should be posted at a later date, then we will do so–along with some good dishing too. :-}.

Question: Is there anywhere that has a step by step timeline of all his achievements? I mean, some sort of timeline that says stuff like: On Sept. 2004 Rain won this award. In December 2004 Rain starred in ___. I just am trying to get a general timeline in my head of all the things he’s done and when he’s done them so I don’t feel so discombobulated when I’m watching some of his interviews and stuff.

I haven’t yet seen one like that, Diva. Ours goes by year, and though it was darn near impossible to find a date for each thing (not to mention insanity inducing), we did try to get things under each year in some kind of order and we checked it against his official website, so…
If I ever see a step by step time line, I’ll give ya a shout.

Actually I just looked at your year-by-year guide and it was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. It was very informative in fixing his chronology in my mind. Some of the cd/song release time frames surprised me.
Like, I was really surprised he made the BMW Meets Truth video/short film in the same year as I’m Coming. He looked and
seemed like a different person in those 2 videos.

A nice blast from the past. I noticed that those hoodies are still for sale on the Rainbox (old SixtoFive) website. Love that Fresh Woman Teddy hoodie. Ha ha.
The site doesn’t appear to be quite ready for purchasers yet, because even though they have a few products listed, you can’t get to all of them, and there’s no way for foreigners to actually pay for their items, it seems.
I will keep looking now and again and keep everyone posted, but if someone else finds out that Rainbox is ready, please shout it out. (Especially to me, cause there’s a photo album I’m dying to get my hands on, don’t you know. And there are some design goods collection items that look real interesting…)
(But that Legend of Rainism collector’s teddy bear @ 490,000krw is a tad overpriced, don’t you think. Good grief.)

oh gosh a gap in btw my eye i have never see this beauitful angel of rain here mind you he look so good from not age a bit even he in his teens he still have the attractive look who would love this guy to bottom of your heart and now that he full mature i am dying to say I DO !! to him not just he sexy, cute, handsome ect… but, who are internity give us so much to be part of rain worlds life i am so happy that i found myself as a clouds 9 and knowing what exazctly who rain appluase to be back then and nowaday!!

Well, I can said that my hubbie is a sign Cancer and let me tell you they do have their temper. People respect them and consider them as their leader in everything they do cause they have old souls. But also are the sweetest, purest of heart people you can find sooo they just don’t let anybody tell them what to do with their lives. They are focused in their careers but at the same time they love to have a place they can call home and a wife who can understand their hectic life style cause they are always involved in something. Also, they are multi talented and creative as we all know. I really hope he can find that special girl who can be his partner in crime. I am that kind of wife for my hubbie but sometimes he makes me crazy with all the activities he can get into. It has been twenty one years of happy marriage sooo I can’t complain. Regarding Rain’s hands they are really manly and beeautiful. Love it when he touch women in the series he have done. His touch is delicate but manly and gives me chills everytime. When he dance, those hands are graceful as nobody elses and when he touch that mike pole….brrrr you want to be there. I love JiHoon cause even though I don’t know him, he has capture my heart and would’nt let go. 😀

Well, I take that back. His fashion choice for the Speed Racer premiere wasn’t the best in the world. He was already in his Ninja Assassin mode; thin as a rail and with longer hair. I would have said that maybe it was the beige suit that was ooky, but we ALL know that he looked hot as hell in beige in the SK W phone commercial, right?
So, maybe it was just the combination of everything all together: being thin to the point of starvation, the longer hair, the geeky glasses AND the beige suit. Who knows? Anyway, not a good look, IMHO. (The look in our askmen.com post is what I’m talking about.)
Other than that, nope. No bad pics or angles that I’ve ever found anywhere. Which could almost cause me to hate him. (That is, if I didn’t wuv him so much. LOL.)

You know, that is so funny because I think he looks so hot in those pics! The glasses are so mmmm to me, for some reason I melt whenever I see him in glasses. I think the only times I’m not a fan of how he looks are the Gucci suit he wore for the Ninja A premeire (I think that suit is ill fitting and makes him look chunky), the hairstyle he had when he first debuted like in the pic u guys have above, and I’m not so much a fan of his Lotte pics. To me he always looks like he’s fake smiling in. Even so, I still don’t think he looks ugly in those instances, just not as hot as normal. Actually, I can hardly look at the Gucci suit pics… He just looks odd there IMHO.
