Rain will begin Runaway filming at home right away, so he’s pretty tied up.
Asia Economy’s Sports Today is reporting that now that all of the Runaway Plan B shooting has been completed abroad, the remainder of the filming in South Korea will immediately begin in earnest.
A Runaway production official is quoted as saying that they’re only waiting for the rest of the crew to get back (which by now should have already happened), and that worry over the terrible hostage situation that recently took place in the Philippines didn’t add any difficulty to the drama filming there.
Word on the street, though, from someone only identified as “Rain’s close associate,” is that they were all pretty scared, and that security wasn’t ideal.

i also read that the performance in the Phillipines pushed the filming schedule back. wow. take care Rain. was so hoping he could get some rest.

It most certainly did push the schedule back, seeing as he allowed himself to be railroaded into it rather than be the “bad guy” and disappoint the fans. It wasn’t just a matter of “hitting the stage.” He had to take filming days off to decide on costuming, songs, staging, music, which parts to keep in, what to take out, have it all flown in and then rehearse and refine the show upteen times.
ALL while the media was crucifying him about one thing or another.
So when I see some Philippine fans (not all of them) and media bellyaching about “but he didn’t do an encooooore…!”, I just want to smack somebody. They got nine songs live-mic’d of a show that has ONLY been seen in S.Korea and Japan, from a completely exhausted Rain, and it’s like they don’t even realize how lucky they are.
PLEASE quitcherbitching.
He didn’t get to film Runaway in Thailand at all.
