Manila interviews: Rain and Henney.
[*ETA: There is a version of the Rain interview that is roughly 2 minutes longer, because the Paparazzi hosts back in the studio give their views after the interview is over. But until that part is translated and we know that they aren’t doing their ridiculous ragging on him about being a snob, it won’t go here. ^@@^]

Well Jihoon dear, most or all of Asia have seen you … It’s time for you to get back here in the U. S. Don’t you think so ladies? Though I know it’s not anytime soon because of his other commitments but who knows. That show in Manila I guess was not in his original schedule..so I still believe a miracle like that can happen to us fans here in the U. S….

It is so nice to see Rain getting positive press! 🙂 Thank you DJ Mo. And both Rain and Daniel look gorgeous as usual. lol, Rain the joke-ster… I believe he can speak better English than his translator. But it always nice to hear him speak English when he wants to.
I can’t believe Daniel Henney is playing the bad guy. I can’t wait for Fugitive to start! This looks like it is going to be an awesome show with lots of unexpected twists. YEAH. So excited.

After watching this interview, I love him more and more and i know a lot of other people over there will admire him the mere fact that he sincerely say nice things about the Philippines despite of what the press initially perceived him to be. After proven them all wrong and after he treated the curious crowd with a splendid show, even the meanest of all critics who in the end took their words back will be clamoring to see more of him:) besides, that small grp of initially ignorant critics only comprise a microminute part of the whole Philippines 🙂

DJ Mo was commenting on how Rain was a quiet guy, no airs, and he’s really reserved. He has nice things to say about Rain. We are really glad that DJ Mo has defended Rain and explained about the mix-up at the presscon, and didn’t say he was a snob. Philippine Clouds were really happy, they tweeted their “thanks” to the interviewer.
DJ Mo has been known for being upfront with his observations, and most of the time, he would say negative stuff about people (Filipino and foreign celebrities alike) in his TV and radio shows. But with Rain, he was sincere in saying he a down-to-earth guy. He tweeted that it was his “pleasure sharing some time w/ one of the worlds biggest stars.”
Maybe the Philippine press is not that bad after all… (or they were probably all blown away with Rain’s performance last Saturday)

Yes, I’ve heard of DJ Mo and a few of the scuffles he’s gotten into with the public for stuff he has said… but for the most part, he’s always seemed like decent guy. And now I know he is, because he tried to help Rain. That is wonderful.

I’ve seen the clip that the hosts in that celebrity talk show were discussing about the interviews and I’m glad Dj Mo cleared things up about the miscommunication regarding the press con 🙂 The lady in black who is also a columnist that often writes nasty things about anybody didn’t even say anything negative but instead allowed Dj Mo to talk more about Rain and Runaway:) they congratulated Rain for a successful concert and that a lot of Filipino celebrities watched and enjoyed the concert. Dj Mo further added that a lot of people wants to have a glimpse of Rain that even some young Filipino actresses wore their sexy bikinis when they learned Rain was swimming in the hotel pool.. Haha ! Well, I’m glad what started not so good ended well:) The hosts even called Rain ” kapatid” which in Filipino means brother and invited the audience to watch for Rain’s upcoming drama.:).

Rain < Ms. Ruffa Gutierrezi who are interiew along rain am not to sure about rain DON"T SPEAK ENGLISH either his skill is good just like how he message to his clouds all the time for some reason rain like to been his translator rain u need to SPEAK UP so other would not look so down on u well, i can"t blame him i think for him it more specfic to be this way that just my option for what i see in rain but, ofcurse he good for who he is and speak .
Daneil< he so postive and answer his staright word piont no question to hide what he are and doen i very love the way he speak out from his heart and so good in that ENGLISH am melting AWAY when i hear him ahahah
this manly handsome Daneil would be amazing guy ever and yes i love your X-MEN i wanted to watch again ehehhe

After I thought about it for a minute, I realized that of COURSE Rain wasn’t being “charming” during his interview with DJ Mo. Cause DJ Mo is a GUY.
I mean, I’ve seen Rain charm the pants off of female interviewers before, haven’t you? So, it’s likely that if he had gotten the hottie cover girl instead of DJ Mo, we would have seen an entirely different interview. Don’t you think?
I’m thinking yes. Wow. I wonder what his conversation with Henney was like afterward?
Man, you get the hot cover girl chick and I get DJ Mo? How the hell did THAT happen?? Who’s the STAR of this damned thing anyway??? Huh? Huh? :-}
