Runaway/Domanja filming: It’s almost a wrap.

Asian news source Sports Josun reported in their pages today that overseas filming for the upcoming KBS 2 Runaway drama is nearly completed, and that, after roughly two and a half months of being abroad with the production crew, Rain should be returning home to South Korea around the 15th of this month.

According to the article, the director and other key actors, who have multiple entry visas, have been able to return to home here and there throughout this two and a half month period, whereas Rain has had to remain on location for the duration because of his single passport.  (Apparently, only after mandatory time in the military has been served can you have unlimited travel.)

A Runaway production official is quoted as saying, “The last shoot of the drama is now getting under way in the Philippines, and both the cast and the crew will return home on the 15th and 16th, respectively. Rain’ll also return home, choosing between the two days, but as of yet no concrete schedule has been outlined.”  He also added, “I appreciate individuals fully engaging themselves in the shoot until the very end. Considering numerous factors, including the broadcast schedule, we’ve decided to cancel the drama shooting on location in Thailand.”

A Runaway press conference will be held in South Korea around the fourth week of September, after the Chuseok holidays. (Sept.21~23), and then the first episode of the drama series will air on the 29th.
