Nappeun Namja: Rain and JYP in Australia, 2002.

For those of you who haven’t seen it, enjoy this, the making of Rain’s debut music video for “Bad Guy” (Nappeun Namja) off of the n001 album, in Australia of 2002.  The living of Ji-Hoon’s dream had only just begun.

  1. Well,

    None of the mainstream stores have his music in house. I know because I’ve looked.

    Even Ninja Assassin was difficult to get the first day it was supposed to be out. It was disconcerting. Especially since he’s such a HUGE star in Asia.

    What I have been doing,, though is anytime I’m in a store looking at music or DVD’s I ASK about him. I ask them if they have any of his stuff. And when they say no, I ask them to please stock some.

    Maybe if enough people start asking for his work, some of these mainstream stores would actually start stocking it. It can’t hurt to ask anyway, right?

    And the funny thing is whenever I mention him, someone (either the person I’m talking to or someone nearby) always says they are going to check him out, cause he sounds interesting.

    So, at least maybe he’s gotten a few new fans from my big mouth. Which can’t hurt, right? Lol.

    Also, I haven’t visited any of the Korean stores on the other side of town yet, but they probably do stock some his stuff. We will see. There’s a huge Asian community there. As soon as I can get a free day, Stephe and I are going to go on a shopping trip over there, to see what goodies we can find.

    Terri :-}

  2. I couldn’t agree with you more. Why? I have bought most of his music but online. None of his music is no where to be found in major record stores. Such a shame. Where is his marketing dept.? Get with it we in America buy tons of music everyday.

  3. Although I’m very proud for him I do have a question that has not been answered,why is his music not sold in u.s. Markets we have tons of foreign music that u don’t have to buy online that can be purchased in stores,he’s not a new artist is this jyp him u.s. or s.korea? Their is
    plenty of foreign speaking music sold here, he would really blow up even more and the same for his drama’s merchandise etc. MUCH LOVE!
