Rain’s personal message on the Rain Official blog (Japan).
(posted on 6.28.2010) Hello, I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks to you.
When I woke up in the morning, it was drizzling. At that time, what comes to my mind first was, “Isn’t it hard for my fans to wait for my concert while the rain?” However, I get excited when I think about my fans who’ll be filled with anticipation about my concert while entering the venue. I think you’ll come to my concert even in Fukuoka after Tokyo, but I let out a sneeze during my concert in Tokyo because I had a slight cold, which seemed to occasion your much anxiety.
Your pray for me can help me get well fast.
During my Zepp Tour, both teams, Korea and Japan, have advanced into the quarterfinals in the 2010 Worldcup. So, I’m very happy. I hope both teams will make it through to the semifinals. Korea and Japan teams, cheer up!
I’ve heard that there were a number of inquires from Japanese blogs whether I ate sea mustard soup on my birthday. Unfortunately, I couldn’t. I just managed to take some time off to relax in the hotel, because I was coming down with a cold. My staffs prepared a cake and celebrated my birthday before my rehearsal.
You sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to me during my concert in Fukuoka, So, at that moment, I could feel something touching from the depth of my mind surging up. Indeed, I felt it is you that are the spring of my energy. Thank you for coming to my Zepp Tour. I’ll do my best even in Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai, Sapporo, and Saitam Super Arena after Fukuoka.
I’ll be willing to wait for you till we meet again.

You know?
It has to be terribly hard to live life in the spotlight, with fans and cameras and even your own people around you all the time, and then to be expected entertain everyone everywhere all the time too. As much as Rain may have wanted to live the idol life, I don’t think anyone, even Rain, is ever be totally prepared for the reality of it, for what that really means.
And no matter how much we fans appreciate Rain (or how much he appreciates us), we aren’t really his family or friends. Not really. I mean, technically, we are all really strangers to him.
So, I hope every Cloud out there will remember that and give Rain some privacy and space when he’s out and about, so he’ll have some peace now and then. I know I wouldn’t like to be followed everywhere I go, and not have space when I needed it. It would get to be quite nerve-wracking after awhile, wouldn’t it?
Yes, Rain, please take care of yourself and stay healthy and strong, and not just for your fans and loved ones, but for YOURSELF too.

Me too, Terrie…. Rain, I’ll wait for you in Las Vegas…in the rain…with a cold….naked (something tells me I went too far)
But you get the “full” meaning behind my craziness…I can’t wait to see you in person.

I do hope, someday, that me and Stephe get a chance to wait in the rain for Rain. It looks like a miserable long-shot for us U.S. fans though, at this point, what with his concerts in Japan, his K-Drama and his military service looming. Sigh.
Oh, great. Now I’ve managed to depress myself.
Sigh again…
