South Korea (RAIN): 92% of the vote
England (Coldplay and company): 8% of the vote
Ahem. Well. A bit gnarly, eh? Be proud, Clouds! You are all made of Awesome. I do believe the voting will still be open for a while longer, but gee, I suspect Team Rain/S. Korea will be advancing toward the Gold.
France (Phoenix): 60% of the vote
Nigeria (Afrobeat): 40% of the vote
This one won’t be over ’til it’s over.
Not a bad day’s work, everyone. I knew Rain could count on you. Let’s stretch our muscles, get some water, limber up our fingers and be ready for his next match-up on the MTV Newsroom Blog. Who oh who will it be against? Any guesses?

What does “AJA” fighting mean?
I’ve seen it in a few different places on this blog and in comments other people have left on different places. Does it just mean fighting in English? lol thank you in advance!

Hi, Daphne.
Aja in effect means “let’s go.” Mok ja… Let’s eat. Bo ja… let’s watch. Ga ja, or a ja, or aja, let’s go.
Aja fighting is sort of the equivalent to “Let’s do it!” or “Go down fighting!” or “You can do it!” or “Without fail!” Sorry for the long explanation, but Korean phrases have so many usages and meanings to each one that you don’t know which one to tell a person half the time. 🙂
If anyone else has anything to add, please do!
