Hollywood Life 6/6/2010 — Get ready America, tonight may be the night you finally get to know South Korean pop star and actor Rain as he is up for Biggest Badass at the MTV Movie Awards! Rain is nominated for his role in Ninja Assassin alongside Sam Worthington (Clash of the Titans), Angelina Jolie (Wanted), Chris Pine (Star Trek), and Channing Tatum (GI Joe). He even flew in from Korea specifically to attend tonight’s show!
For those of you who do not know, 27-year-old Rain, aka Jung Ji Hoon, has released 7 albums in his native South Korea…
You might say… it’s on like Donkey Kong.

i wrote this whole reply to this article, clicked post and was told to try again later….i just wanted to tell this writer that Rain has been on Time’s 100 short list for the past 4 years and #1 in 2006. that he performed for 90,000 people at the 2008 Olmpics and later for 60,000 at Jackie Chan’s charity event that he is much bigger than Korean and known to 2/3rds of globe, and that i was happy that finally the US is catching up. I KNOW, I KNOW,,,should be tired by now, but they just askew their articles to much for me. and i wanted to tell her that he won’t shoot his drama until he finishes his SOLD OUT “Love Concert” in Japan. and i did want to thank her kekeke oh well…
