[ *ETA: Of course, we are all flying by the seat of our pants here, because J.Tune didn’t put up official flight info for this trip, heaven knows why. There is word in the street about a different flight, United #1062 landing at 3:20 pm Pacific (thanks to sixtofive1982.com for this information)…
We tracked Korean Air flight KE-011 all the way to landing, so that plane is down and we are hoping that Rain was on it. Shame on J.Tune for creating this unnecessary havoc. Stay tuned. ]
Our namja has landed safely at LAX, and boy, are we relieved. Everybody scream! Sorijiluh! Welcome to the States, Ji-Hoon! Break a leg at the MTV Movie Awards.

no prob – this is my fave rain-related site so if i was going to post info anywhere (besides on FB), it would def be here 😀 i will be sure to let my friend know that her efforts and communications are very appreciated by more ppl than she knows 😉 she’s meeting another friend tonight – they’re staying at the hilton – if they have a rain sighting before the awards show, will let you guys know!

last airport update *sigh* so my pal left LAX around 6:45p-7p. from what i gathered, it sounded like the clouds that were there were not aware of the fact that there were two exits – a main exit and a “VIP”/security type exit – so they’re convinced he probably was escorted out that VIP exit and they never would’ve seen him b/c you can’t see that VIP exit from where they were all standing by the main exit (apparently a starbucks blocking the view). too bad they didn’t ask another employee about this – apparently when her flight landed, the first airport employee she asked only pointed out that main exit – but afterwards, when it was getting late, they asked another employee and they pointed out the other exit on the other side of the starbucks! so – it wouldn’t necessarily have been a case of rain seeing the fans and them rushing by them and out the VIP door – it could’ve been just a matter of him being escorted to the VIP door to get him on his way – and since you can’t see the ppl standing at the main exit… *sigh* darn it – was really looking forward to some rain LAX pics today!

I was afraid something like that was going to happen. Security is so tight at LAX that they likely escorted him where he needed to go and he just went where they told him to. He probably never even saw the crowd waiting for him. Sigh.
Oh well, at least I hope everybody made a new Cloud friend? Maybe their luck will be better at the show?

i know 😦 i figured there’d be a wait but this is ridiculous and worrisome indeed! i just read a comment on the 6to5 site from someone who also has a friend waiting at LAX that many of the clouds left simply b/c they were discouraged and figured he left via some VIP exit or something. which again – i can see him being whisked to the front of the customs line to skip the wait – but why wouldn’t he just exit through the terminal to baggage claim like everyone else and greet some fans ??? BUT no reports of him actually outside of the airport – he has to leave the terminal at some point and get into a vehicle, right?! although i don’t know if the clouds are spread out in strategic places around the airport or not – i feel like we need some sort of logistics plan lolz ;P

also – just texted my friend to suggest perhaps a cloud should run down to baggage claim to find out if luggage from korean air flight 11 has been picked up by passengers yet – that would be a huge clue. she said they asked an airport employee if passengers from that flight had all gone through customs yet but she said they just responded “i don’t know” 😦

nothing new to report other than that my friend is STILL waiting at the int’l terminal at LAX – and just told me that a bunch of clouds actually just left !!! so i don’t know yet if ppl are just tired and discouraged or have other obligations – or they are just convinced that somehow they missed him/he exited some other way ???

my friend has just texted that she’s still waiting and she’s w/ a lot of other clouds bearing fruit baskets, gifts, etc. 😀 so far, no rain – YET !!!

@stephe – WORD! in complete agreement 😀 now if we only knew which hotel he was staying at … lolz! do they ever give at THAT info ??? it’s like you can guess between the hilton and the sheraton in universal city close to the theater (and either way, they are both very close to each other anyhoo) – but who knows if he’s even going to stay in that area – maybe he’ll just stay in L.A. since it’s only a 30-40 min drive from universal city ??? will def update you guys if i hear any updated, exciting etc. rain news !!!

i WISH i was down in L.A. !!! i’m in seattle but lucky to know a cloud who actually just flew down there today – her flight actually arrived about 30 minutes after rain’s flight (supposedly – if he was on that flight ?!) – but apparently getting through customs at any airport is a painfully slow process – and luckily for us/my friend, rain isn’t getting star treatment and being taken to the front of the line lolz – sorry, rain !!! :B

I don’t think I’d be so disappointed if his flight info was never given out at all. But it is. All the time.
It’s just that he has said how important it is to make it in the States, that he wants to make it in the States, which is the only reason we’re doing this. If you want a good fan base here, we’ve got to know when you’re coming and what the heck you are doing, so we can support you.

lolz i know – although i’m not used to the concept of celebs actually releasing itinerary info – but i keep hearing this is the their M.O. – and if they want ppl here to greet rain, just give us the flight info – yeesh! 😀 a friend is texting me from LAX – she says she’s waiting at int’l terminal w/ other clouds right now 🙂

just checked the united flight status – ETA was changed to 2:55p.

for some reason LAX flight status sites indicate the flight did indeed already land – but it indicates arrival time as 11:00a ???
