[Speculation] Will he be at Usher’s concert in Seoul?

[Cloud USA] We imagine that Rain would probably like to support American acquaintance Usher Raymond by making it to the Hyundai Super Concert X – Usher live show at Jamil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, on July 3rd… but that may not be possible, seeing as Rain will be on a ZEPP stage in Japan (the Nagoya venue on Friday, July 2nd, and Sendai on Sunday, July 4th) the day before and the day after.

But then again, Japan is only a hop, skip, and a jump across the East Sea (Sea of Japan), right?  He could probably make it, if ZEPP preparations are all ironed-out for the Sunday show, he is rested enough, and he has no other obligations.

Well, we’ll have to wait and see.

RAIN/USHER Trivia: Rain’s autobiographical hit song and Usher’s second album are both named “My Way.”

  1. Asian audiances have seen one of thier own do these dance steps.
    who do u think they’ll choose? Rain is their very own MJ, their King of Pop. i just hope Usher considers this while planning his concert and i hope him using dance steps that are so famaliar to Rain’s and in front of Rain lovers don’t cause any back lash.

  2. Usher’s dance moves do resemble Rain’s moves. I don’t like will.i.am on this song period. Honestly I miss “old school” Usher, back in the “My Way” or even “You remind me of” days. I mean he has a great voice and can dance very well, don’t really need to add any “filler” to his music.

    I also hate when people compare Usher to Rain, they are 2 totally different people.As much as I like Usher, I would pick Rain over him any day .Lol

  3. I most definately agree, I saw this video when it firat came out and said he dances like BI, but the detractors say BI dances like Usher, but Usher has not done anything new lately and on his new video he does dance a lot more like in the old days, but he dsnces like BI…I don’t think BI will be able to see his concert, but if he can swing it he will…we will see..

  5. And here’s Usher’s “American Idol” stage performance of OMG, in March 2010.

    I’m not thrilled with will.i.am’s performance (featured), but I thought you might find the performance interesting.

  6. I’m thinking he probably won’t have time to attend Usher’s concert, due to his own crazy concert/filming schedule right? But I’ll just bet he would attend if he could.

    Interestingly, I was talking to some folks on the forum last night, and we were discussing how frustrating it is that U.S. entertainers just don’t “dance” during their performances like they used to long ago. This is VERY disappointing to many of us U.S. fans and is one of the reasons I love to watch Rain’s performances so much–because he is such an incredible singer AND dancer.

    BUT…in Usher’s latest music video, called “OMG”(Oh My Gosh),he does more dancing than I’ve seen from a U.S. entertainer in a long LONG time. The FUNNY thing, though–and the reason I’m bringing this up here–is that his dance moves look a LOT like RAIN’s dance moves.

    I posted the video in the forum, but here’s the link for it on YouTube:

    So, what do you think, Clouds? Am I right, Clouds? Huh? Lol.

    I like Usher. I really do. He and Rain are also acquaintances and he is one of Rain’s idols.

    Oh, and did I mention that Usher lives here in Atlanta? :-}
