Rain Under the Weather: No Cause for Alarm

[ *ETA 4/23/10: A little birdie told us that Rain has the flu and will be taking some time off, but that he is fine and in good spirits. Thank goodness. ^@@^ ]

Hello lovely Clouds,

It has been reported that, during the April 22nd pre-recording of his performance of MNET M! Countdown, Rain complained of a fever, fatigue and pain. In spite of arriving late, he managed to complete his performance, but a medical team was still called in, and he was given fluids intravenously on site, to assist with his recovery.

Officials at J.Tune Entertainment have indicated that his condition was caused by a comeback and concert schedule too full of rehearsals and performances, which left him with inadequate time to rest.

It is our understanding that Rain is now resting comfortably and is in stable condition. So, there is no cause for alarm.

Cloud USA wishes Rain a speedy recovery and hopes he will take some time to take a well-deserved break.

i am so sadden and heart-broken by this news…but yes i agree with everyone here. i just hope that someone who he listens to will encourage him to rest more, take a day to replenish himself before he moves to the next event. i hope going forward, when he signs contracts of engagement, there will be a stipulation clause that he takes a day or two of mandatory rest and health checkup. and i hope CLOUDS will send a strong message to him, that we want him to use the same advice he forever gives us. that being that “Health is the most important thing” PLEASE Jung JiHoon get better and completely well soon. we are feeling so sad about this news. JUST VISUALIZING HIM COLLASPING, is more than i can bear. feeling so sad about this news.

Sounds pretty serious if he collapsed and had to have an IV. I worry about him. I thought what he did to his body for Ninja Assassin was really unhealthy, but he is willing to drive himself so hard to achieve a goal. He is a healthier weight now but maybe not getting enough nutrition, water and sleep? I hope he is welk taken care of by family and friends and that gets some rest.

  - He has to attend KBS Happy Family pre-recording today (4/24). So, he can’t take any rest. Per korean fans, he looks tired but getting better, still alright.

Our prince is very stubborn. Nobody can stop him once he made up his mind. Luckily, it didn’t happen during concert tour, otherwise, he won’t stop until he totally collapsed.
Per news, he fell down in waiting room after he finished the pre-recording rehearsal. Finally, medical staff was stood by near the stage on the final recording.
Cloud has to be stronger than him. He needs our emotional support.

Ah yes.

A white version. So beautiful. (But then of course, I’m partial, being from the ATL and all…)

But then, the mom in me can’t help but be a little frustrated that he let himself get rundown like that. What were his people thinking?

This kid is sensational… Im so surprised with his professionalism and also, even sick, he can performed amanzingly perfect.
Sometimes I think he forgets about himself and that he is human, but anyway that´s Rain workaholic…
I hope gets better and I would say work is good but health is first.

Glad he’s ok but it’s no surprise, he has such a strenuous schedule. I hope he can find the time to rest somehow. He really needs it 🙂

And i thought this might happen he’s worked himself to the bone the man needs to learn to chillaze a little, Don’t like it when he’s ill, hope he gets better soon 😀
