Ninja Assassin review: Subtle nods in the right direction.

Hollywood Raw 4/1/2010 — NINJA ASSASSIN is brutal, violent and very bloody, everything a stellar ninja movie should be. There should be no regrets or shame as far as this film is concerned. Rain was amazing in both physical prowess, [martial] arts ability and weapons. He’s also a pretty decent actor to boot. Some have said there was a little too much CGI going on, but I disagree….

  1. I love this movie……I sat on the endge of my seat the whole time…having to pause several times to visit the loo….all that excitment and fear goes stright to the bladder I am afraid!!! Anyway, enough about my toilet habits….the blood and body count was enormous but the thrills were were specatacular. At times I thought Raizo was a gonna but he always came back stronger than before. I lost count of how many ninja were killed and how they died (usually in bits) but everytime I got scared Rain…sorry Raizo would look directly at me and i could feel him saying “Don’t be afraid….don’t show your fear….I will pritect you”. I felt so much better then. My son didnt flinch once but thinks the movie is awesome.

I hope Rian does a sequal to this…..going over the wall at the end looks like it signals another drama unfolding in the future. God he is so handsome with long hair! It gives me goosebumps!
