Hello, everyone. I’m excited to present a special opportunity to all of our Cloud USA forum readers!
The 2010 Green Globe Film Awards will be held on March 23, 2010, in Los Angeles, at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. The Green Globe Film Awards is organized by the Academia Foundation and Anaheim University and is one of Hollywood’s largest film awards programs, with 100 Viewers’ Choice Awards being selected by film lovers, critics, and movie viewers from around the world.
The 2010 International Film Category is “Asian Films” with Asian films of all genres being honored and gala entertainment reflecting this theme. Awards will be presented to leading major motion picture, environmental, humanitarian, animated and international filmmakers, movies and actors.
To cast your votes for Rain and your favorite Asian films and artists, go to: » http://www.movie-voters.com/index.html today. You can also register there for a drawing to win two Gold VIP Seats at the awards event!
The Grand Sponsor is the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. The film awards ceremony and the Emperor’s Dreams Dinner Gala will take place in Hollywood’s grandest ballroom, with a 1,200 person sit-down dinner banquet and surprise performances by Hollywood’s and Asia’s top entertainers! Other sponsors include the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Asiana Airlines.
The organizing committee of the Green Globe Film Awards will commit a portion of the proceeds from the dinner gala towards planting over 500,000 trees near the equator, purifying over 1,000,000 liters of water in places of need, establishing 10 schools in countries of crisis and providing 100 scholarships for sustainable management education. This will be accomplished through cooperation with UNICEF and a number of sustainability-related organizations. The organizers of the Green Globe Film Awards will also commit a portion of the proceeds from the dinner gala to emergency humanitarian assistance in Haiti and other countries in immediate crisis.
Have fun casting your votes. I sure did, especially the ones for Rain. I even wrote in a few!
