We want more Rain on our TVs, too. As it is, unless you have access to an overseas Asian channel or two, you get no Rain AT ALL in the US. And that’s just wrong!

wow, Singapore. good for them. u know here in my neck of the woods about 2 years ago we were able to get AZNTV. it was a channel carried by Comcast cable. the channel was an outgrowth of many asian countries coming together to pay for it to be carried by Comcast. (that’s how i saw Full House, Winter Sonata and many other kdramas and Rain’s “I’m coming” vid). 24/7 with all kinds of shows running from Taiwan, China, Korea, Phillipines, Japan, India, Tipei and some i can’t remember. but that was my channel of choice. all of a sudden they started annoucing the channel was being DROPPED. their website said because it had become to expensive. hummmmm (took me awhile to adjust myself to no more AZNtv) now we have 2 independent channels, but not that vartiety. but here’s how i saw Rain for the past 2 years on UStv. CNN ran his “Korean Sparkling” cf for 6mths, Sundance Channel ran his “Cyborg, but that’s ok” off and on for most of last year; HBO and MAX have been running “Speed Racer” as late as yesterday. it would be dream come true if AZNtv were to come back. (fingers crossed) and i agree, with 12mil asian population and a lot of others liking asian tv, we should have a dedicated channel for programming.

AZN was where I first met Rain, and where I was introduced to my first Kdramas. I was absolutely heartbroken when the channel was dropped. I could not believe it.
I saw Cyborg on Sundance too! We are birds of a feather as well as Clouds. 🙂
This past year, I’ve enjoyed KBS World, but it got a little too expensive and we had to drop it for a while. Hopefully that problem will be fixed soon. At least I have DramaFever online, but that’s not the same as television…
