Late night talk/music show The Seasons (which filled the slot left by Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook) is in a new 5th season with charismatic singer/rapper Zico at its helm — YES! (Previous seasons’ hosts were Jay Park, Choi Jung Hoon, AKMU, and Lee Hyo Ri.) As we understand it, the show has always showcased musicians and guests interested in music through in-depth interviews and live performances. Exactly our cup of tea.

[LINKS] ➡️ The Seasons: Artist with Zico airs the evening of April 26 at 10 PM Korean Standard Time on KBS2 and on international streaming site Kocowa. As we understand it, Rain is Zico’s 4th guest of the night. It’s great seeing these two having fun together again since Zico’s Summer Hate MV, right?

Rain, The Hungry and the Hairy hyung/buddy Ro HongChul, NOROO Paint, and friend Hyunmin Kim have all been having a wonderfully relaxing time over in Milan, Italy these days, sometimes together, sometimes apart. And it’s been wonderful to see, the exploring of such a beautiful city, the soaking up of the incredible arts, Hong Chul Wonderland, and all that’s come with it.

It’s always a pleasure to see our workaholic Rain relaxing, yeah? (He had presence of mind to also give us links to Interpark ticketing for his upcoming Still Raining Seoul concert in June.) We wonder though… will any of this make it into the possible second season of The Hungry and the Hairy, on Netflix?

[Rain message][2 vids] Still Raining update: Rain on Instagram Live. Feel better soon, Oppa. ❤️ (4/15/24)

On 4/14, Rain promised to make an important announcement on Monday the 15th. He kept his word, and dropped the news on his personal Instagram AND on Instagram Live about the next stop on his continuing Still Raining concert tour that began last November in the U.S.!

The next city where it will still be Raining is Seoul, Rain’s home turf. On his Instagram Live, he shared the dates — June 8 (Saturday) at 6 PM KST and June 9 (Sunday) at 5 PM KST — and the where, Olympic Hall music venue in Seoul Olympic Park (a.k.a. Jamsil Olympic Park). It’s been 9 years since his last Korean concert, so the domestic Clouds and fans must be over the moon and we don’t blame them. If we run across an English translation of all he was saying in Korean, we’ll be sure to post it here.

As far as we know, the tentative list of cities he plans to bring the tour to still stands, but nothing is chiseled in stone quite yet (except for Seoul). So, please stay tuned.

➡️ See a partial of his Insta Live on YouTube below (huge thanks to Cloud Taiwan). His Seoul concerts announcement comes at minute marker 5:25 in English. Poor thing — sounds like he has a cold, or hay fever!

We’ll always love your sense of humor, king 👑 Congrats to domestic (Korean) Clouds on the June 8th and 9th Still Raining concerts in Seoul! Are y’all ready?

In a previous Instagram post, Rain promised to make an announcement today (4/15). Not only did he keep his word, it was about the continuation/extension of his Still Raining concert tour that began here in the States last November. Directly from Rain’s personal IG: “Hey everyone, this is RAIN. I’m thrilled to announce my solo concert in Korea. Get ready for an unforgettable experience because I’ll be pouring my heart and soul into every aspect of the show, from vocals to choreography and my visuals(?). I’m booking a hospital appointment after the show 🤣 Can’t wait to see you all there!”

A cool thing — the 1MILLION Dance Studio in Seoul released a YouTube video of their 6-woman choreography team 1MILLION and some of their students getting down to “Bang Bang”… and surprise guest Rain getting down with them as well!

An even cooler thing — Rain’s crazy-popular YouTube channel Season B Season (시즌비시즌, now in its 4th season, I think?) dropped Episode 20, where our dancing king and 2 members of 1MILLION pranked their colleagues and 100 students by sneaking a disguised Rain into a choreo class.

To celebrate the grand opening of their Venetian Macau flagship store, sports brand K-SWISS invited Rain to help cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony and to special guest appear on their RE-BORN fashion show catwalk. Needless to say, he was cool and fabulous.

The videos remind us of when he enhanced the runway at his own clothing line fashion show back in 2009, also in Macau! Remember?

The K-SWISS audience and fashion models were going nuts because Rain was there. I could swear one of the models waved furiously at him while they were both on the runway! So cute.

YES!! A teaser has just come down from the Powers That Be that Rain and his brand new TV drama Red Swan will be coming to Disney Plus. From genius surgeon (in 2022’s Ghost Doctor) to skillful bodyguard with a secret! A little birdie tells us it should be in the second half of 2024. The IMDb page says it’s one season and 10 episodes, but time will tell on that.

YES!! Coming to #Netflix in the USA on Friday!

Watching Ghost Doctor a second time is going to be every bit as satisfying as the first broadcast on Channel tvN overseas, woo hoo! We absolutely love Uee’s performance as Rain’s love interest. She was really convincing and made a good doctor herself. The entire cast was a delight, I must say. It does not have the usual, overused K-drama conflicts, and we were on the edges of our seats.

Let’s thank Netflix by watching the heck out of this 2022 medical supernatural melodrama. Let’s gooooooo 📺 ^@@^

The 사랑의열매 (Fruit of Love) Social Welfare Community Chest of Korea is a South Korean nonprofit organization launched in 1998 and is the only government-sanctioned charity in that country. It is South Korea’s largest welfare institution and supports various welfare organizations. This past September, Rain and the lovely Chuu (formerly of girl group Loona) became spokespersons for Fruit of Love and filmed the charity’s year-around advertisement. ^@@^

[23 images][18 clips] Rain on Asia Super Young: Giving idol hopefuls a helping hand. (Nov 2023 – present)

Rain is Chief Producer of Asia Super Young, a 10-episode 2023 competition show in Hong Kong that began back in November on the TVB and Youku channels. The 65 contestants are competing to be in a 9-member group, and seem very appreciative and delighted whenever Rain goes into mentoring mode or helps them with good advice. TRIVIA: Executive sponsor Eric Tsang was supposed to appear with Rain in K-drama Fugitive: Plan B (2010), but was replaced due to scheduling problems!

As we understand it, Youku now has an International app that makes it a heck of a lot easier to watch their programming. YAY!!! Go to their YouTube channel for more details, folks.

[15 fan cams][recap vid][8 images] Still Raining Tour: Las Vegas (11/25/2023)

Rain’s new concert tour “Still Raining” started here in the States on 11/22/23 in Atlantic City (Hard Rock Etess Arena) and on 11/25/23 in Las Vegas (MGM Grand Garden Arena). The tour continues in March 2024 and will go to Korea, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Macau so far. Dates to come so stay tuned!

Sorry NOT sorry for my screaming, hollering, off-key singing, and insane color commentary, ha ha. For 17 years I’ve expected to NEVER have the opportunity to see Rain with my own eyes or hear him with my own ears so, frankly, it was just too much! 😍😍😍

My fan account is done and will be posted before the end of the week, God willing and the creek don’t rise.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

We’re sending our dear Rain a holiday binder filled with Christmas and New Year’s greeting cards from you all, his Clouds and fans from North America and around the world.

One thing Rain absolutely loves is hearing from his fans no matter where they are. So, send your Christmas greetings! Send your New Year’s greetings as well, so we can send them to R.A.I.N. Company.

We will be paying the postage ourselves for the journey to South Korea. However, if anyone would like to help us out with that, we’re happy to take donations. Just let us know and we’ll tell you how.
