Well, for us on the East coast, the show itself starts “tonight”, at 9:00 PM EST! Don’t know exactly when Rain’s performance will come in, but who cares? We’re just happy there’s an official KTMF stream, and on USA time! (For once, I won’t have to draaaaaggg myself out of bed all bleary-eyed and a hot mess. YESSSS)

For y’all across the U.S., just check out your location and time below, provided by K-Fam Media Productions on its YouTube channel. If you’re not in the U.S., when you go to the video on YouTube, there should be an indicator for when you should tune in for your location. 🙂

Looks like it’s going to be a GREAT show. My radar will be scanning for Rain, and for NCT 127 (LOVE those boys!), and for the CloudUSAers and global Cloud sisters in tha house that I’ll be living vicariously through. I hope I see lots of global fandom signs and Rain light sticks in the audience. I can’t wait!

I hope you’re enjoying your 16th debut anniversary week, Rain! ^@@^

  1. Thanks Terri for finding the alternate link and thanks Stephe for posting it. Unfortunately, I got distracted with other non-Rain related issues that evening, so I didn’t go back to catch any streaming. I did, however, catch quite a few snippets of fan vids taken during the concert…..so that will have to suffice for me. Rain was awesome as usual, didn’t expect anything less.

What did shock the hell out of me was boyfriend’s jaunt to Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles! Want to impress a sista (at least This sista)? This is how ya do it. LOL. Now THAT got my attention. Yeah……….I “see” you.

Come further South (specifically Texas) and we’ll show you what good Southern eating is like. Yes indeed! I keep trying to tell this man, the 4th largest city in the nation has a sizable Asian population. Even though the Chinese population is larger here, the Korean population is larger than you might think. Also, if one is looking for Koreatown in Houston it’s down along Long Point Drive, as well as, Blalock St. There’s restaurants, grocery stores, banks, etc. down there.

    *for future reference*

*you know….in case one wants to plan future concerts down South*

    *in TEXAS*

    *just a thought*

  3. I can’t believe it! I feel asleep after all that waiting thru other acts that I have almost, zero interest in and did not get to see Rain. 😦

      • I did get to see the recording later on that night. I felt like Rain and the older men in the red were the only ones who really brought any spark to make it feel like a concert (even though the men in red were doing a type of music I don’t care for). I was so surprised and happy that they gave Rain his props to be the show closer.

  4. “We’re experiencing technical difficulties”………..

I think they’re experiencing a helluva lot of people trying to watch this festival live….more than expected.

      • I had to download Periscope app (I was in such a hurry that I don’t even know if the app is free or not. I’ll find out when/if I get billed.

Anyway search KTMF. There’s intermission right now. They said 15 minutes and that was 5 minutes ago. Although, they seem to be on “our” time if the starting time is anything to go by. lol (Just joking. I’ve heard older Koreans refer to “Korean time”. Means the same thing. 😁

  7. Thank you so much for the info, Stepj.

BTW, I thought I remembered seeing Rain in an interview say it was his 18th year? Although maybe he was counting to back when he was a rapper for that boy group?

Steph, I know you know the facts so please clue me in.

    1) What was the banner of the boy group that he started out with?

    2) Was that also under JYP?

    3) Why the discrepancy in the date? (Although, it could’ve have been bad subtitles. Lord knows when I watch Kdramas when it comes to money and numbers, the amount can be translated differently within 1 sentence!)

    • You’re welcome, Beez. 🙂

He trained under JYP for 2 years before he debuted as a solo singer under JYP, and during that time he was backup dancing for JYP, so maybe that’s where the difference is. Nope, his boy band before that (FanClub) was not under JYP.
