[info][list] Korean entertainer Rain is not having concerts in Washington, D.C. (see full list of cities).

PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION SO THAT FANS DON’T MISTAKENLY LOSE THEIR HARD-EARNED MONEY.

oopsThe U.S. concerts at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C. that Clouds and fans are currently finding on ticketing agencies online are NOT for 비 Rain (a.k.a. Jung JiHoon).

Those concerts, dated March 8 – 9, 2016, are concerts for the U.S. rock and roll band Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles. Some ticketing sites are displaying Bi Rain’s pictures by mistake (how ridiculous!), and fans are leaving reviews about Rain by mistake — they don’t know these are not his concerts.

There are multiple ticketing sites contributing to this problem. I’ll use this one for an example.

Guess what happens when you click the green “Buy tickets” button?

It takes you to Live Nation, where you can make your purchase and see the correct information.

Rain (Jung JiHoon) has announced that his upcoming world tour is coming to Australia and the Americas sometime next year, but he has not yet released any firm or even tentative dates on his official fan community site, personal website, or to the media.

His “The Squall” Asia tour starts this Saturday in Changsha (11/7), but all concerts outside of China are still in negotiations. Cities and dates haven’t even been announced.

THIS is the band holding the March 2016 concerts at the Warner Theater. ↓

Recent emails we’ve gotten asking about these concerts, and posts that I’ve seen on several Rain forums, are what prompted me to do this post.

So, if you run across Rain concerts + March 2016 + Warner Theater anywhere on the Internet, or in connection with these additional cities in North America in 2016:

Chattanooga, TN
Lancaster, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, PA
Red Bank, Newark, NJ
North Hampton, Boston, MA
Scranton, PA
Charleston, SC
Brooklyn, Westbury, NY
Washington, DC
Montreal, QC
Ottawa, London, Toronto, ON
San Diego, Fresno, Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, CA
Mesa, AZ
Albuquerque, NM
Boise, ID
Salt Lake City, UT
Nanaimo, Vancouver, Kamloops, Vernon, BC
Edmonton, Calgary, AB
Saskatoon, Regina, SK
Winnipeg, MB
Wabash, IN
Green Bay, WI

…the answer is no. Even though it’s his picture, it’s not a 비 Rain event.

I know it’s confusing, but I hope this helps.

Tah for now!^^

  3. This is a much needed post. I came across this issue months ago and almost bought tickets until further investigation showed that these were not Jung Ji Hoon aka Rain concerts. I would have been so upset if I had bought these tickets. So thanks for looking out for the fans.

    • Hi, Donna. 🙂 So glad you found this out before you spent your money. Other fans have actually bought tickets, and I’m not sure if they were able to get their money back or not. Gosh, I hope so. I know I’d be dead upset if it were me.

Thanks for your comments. Hope your week has been good!
