Having won the Alfred Bauer Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival, I’m A Cyborg, But That’s OK should definitely be on this list, along with Children of Men and Apocalyto, in my honest opinion. These three films spoke to me, big time, and went a lot deeper than I expected them to.

I haven’t seen The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, but I’m definitely going to search it out and give it a look! ^@@^

  1. Intriguing list. I was pleasantly surprised at how many of these I’ve already seen, but there were a couple of surprises, like “Children of Men,” “Stranger Than Fiction” and “A Scanner Darkly.” All excellent films that I was unaware were under-appreciated.

And of course, we Rain fans all know “I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK” was totally overlooked. So frustrating. The moviegoer masses are so dense.
