The membership fee for this term has been reduced to $32. USD (8th Cloud was $55. USD, but hey, we got over 2 and a half years for that, so I’m not complaining), and that payment goes to Overseas Cloudmaster huhuhuhu at her hotmail address below, via Paypal. And things are a lot easier in that your “application” is an email to the separate Cloud gmail address with the information that is being asked of you below, AFTER you’ve signed up as a registered user at Rain’s Official Fan Community (The Korean Cloud) IF you haven’t already.
Recruitment lasts for nearly a whole month, from now until January 26, so you do have some time to recover from the holidays.

*Admission qualification: All fans who love Rain
*How to join: after membership fee has been paid to the designated account, please send your application email to raincloudworld@gmail.com with the following information:
Subject: 9th Cloud Membership
Content: Name, Cloud ID, Country, Birth date (e.g. 25 June), Email address, Shipping Address, Contact Telephone number

*Membership fee: US$32 net by PayPal (please remit net amount)
*PayPal account: heidi.shanghai@hotmail.com
*Membership period: From after 9th Cloud application and payment has been made, until the recruitment of 10th Cloud.

*Fan Club benefit:
* Provision of official fan club membership card.
* Upgrade to full regular member at the Cloud official fan site with provision of differentiated information.
* Priority application for fan meeting and priority admission (if a fan meeting is organized during 9th Cloud period)
* Priority entrance at public broadcast programs (as agreed with the organizer) (However until 8th Cloud period is over 8th Cloud will have priority entrance)

Matters of attention when joining
· You must first become a member (user of/registered at) at the Cloud official website before you can apply for 9th Cloud membership.
· Please make your payment first before you submit your email application. Your email application should include proof of payment and date of payment.
Matters of attention when making PayPal payment
· Please write on your subject line 9th Cloud Membership Fee and provide your full name, your Cloud ID, and your country in your message.
· Please remember to choose personal payment and select to pay all charges so that the net amount is received.
· If you prefer payment via banks in Hong Kong or China, please email to raincloudworld@gmail.com for further information.
Other matters
· Please keep your proof of payment as it will be proof of your membership status until a membership card is provided.
· When you submit your application, please make sure you provide correct shipping address and contact telephone number to avoid mis-shipping of membership cards.
· You will not be able to join the Fan Club again if you choose to withdraw after your application.
· Membership fee cannot be refunded after application is finished.
· Your name will not appear in the membership list if you only made payment without submitting an application or vice versa.
Protection of Personal Information
All information submitted will be used solely for 9th Cloud membership information purposes, and will not be released outside for any other purposes.

We’re pretty confused and concerned about the trouble that a few of you are having with Paypal, and so I’ve emailed the overseas Cloudmaster and the Cloud exec to see if the deadline to join 9th Cloud can be extended so everyone can get through.
Will let y’all know what they say, and try to come up with an alternative option…

Glad to hear that, Jini. I was relieved to come home from a hard day at work to see that people were finally getting this thing somewhat resolved. Although, I’d still like to know what the heck is happening.
Stephe posted that Patsii said to split up your $32.00 into three separate payments and that seems to be working. (I hope.)
Anyway, to those of you who are still having trouble, hopefully the three separate payments thing will work. If you are still having trouble after trying that, please let us know and we’ll try to figure out something.
Sigh. What a terrible time for this glitch to happen.

Hi all, I send my payment, the email and I did the registration process in the Cloud Official Page but I didn’t received any confirmation yet. Do you know if It is supposed that I receive a confirmation?

You may not receive a confirmation. Is your little cloud on The Cloud’s website pink? If so, then you are a 9th Cloud.

The Paypal person with whom I spoke said to wait another 24hours and try again. (I had tried 5 times previously and got the same message that money couldn’t be sent @ this time.) Should I go ahead and send in my membership application as did Lotusrain?

That sounds like a PayPal problem to me. I would call their technical support. I didn’t have any issues making my payment and I used PayPal.

Terri, Stephe, HELP! PayPal won’t let me send money because of some new government rule with money going overseas? Without a (PayPal button)?
Heidi would have to send me a paypal button before I can send my money now?. I’ve already sent my application in. Here’s paypal customer service# 1-888-221-1161.
I’m really confused about this because I sent my money from paypal for my RainEffect cd with no problem. But when I talked to paypal customer service a minute ago they said the government law went into effect in November. Basically they pick at random who to mess with? And it’s the 23 in Korea so I only have 3 days to make sure they have my money so I can get my pink cloud😢 please help🙏

I am confused too. I had no problem with PayPal when I sent my payment or bought my CD. I’m totally at a loss. Please call PayPal yourself and talk to them and explain that you have a deadline to meet. And try to contact Heidi too and let her know you are having trouble, because it sounds like you are not the only ones.
I’ve looked on PayPal and I see nothing in their policies or fee structures that has changed anywhere. Ladies, the fastest way for you to handle this is to contact PayPal, I think.

I didn’t see that option to pay all charges, how do I do that on paypal? Can somebody help me? Or should I just send the 32 USD and the charges are included?

Hi, Gleice. 🙂 The overseas Cloudmaster has noticed that some people were not given that option on Paypal to pay all charges, for some reason. She asks that, in that case, you please send $34. instead and that will cover the charges for you.

My money is laughing at me about now. Hahahaha so I’ve gotta join at the mid to end of this month. I had to get Rain’s cd cause I wanted to make sure to help him in the music sweeps. But with birthdays and Christmas all in dec. phew just to much.

Yes the costs were high, but I think the main problem is that no one wants to volunteer to help keep coordinate, track of all of the packages and help ship out everything. It is a monumental task. But as you know no one ever likes to volunteer for anything.
And apparently it is no different in South Korea. Sigh.

Yes, even if you were an 8th Cloud you STILL must register and pay a membership fee to become a 9th Cloud.

We have no idea, but Heidi will reply to everyone as soon as she has time. Keep in mind that there are THOUSANDS of Clouds from all over the world signing up. But we know she is working on it, because she said so.

Ok confused……….even if we have an ID from our previous 8th Cloud membership we must still register? I get paying again (not a problem), just want to be clear with regard to registering.

No, if you already have an ID for The Cloud’s official fanclub (meaning you can log in with an ID already), then you do NOT need to register on the website. You DO, however, still need to send in an “application,” because that is for the new 9th Cloud. And make sure that you include your website ID on your application, so that they will know who you are and credit the right person with the membership.
Hopefully that makes sense.
