2002 was when it all started in earnest, when JiHun became 비 and pounced on South Korea with a vengeance. He’s been pouncing ever since, not that they—or the world—are complaining. 🙂
Do enjoy this wonderful performance from New Year’s Eve 2002, when an utterly adorable, debut-year Rain received an MBC Top 10 Singers Award, to his delight. You could say he danced and pop/locked his butt off. (Holy cow! Kangta, BoA, and g.o.d. on the same show with him? I would have passed slap out.)

First time seeing this. This man was born with gifts. I love watching him move and his voice is God given. He was always meant for this.
