About an account in January written by a soldier who met Rain in the elevator where Rain lives.
Rain lives on the 6th floor in the DEMA quarters. Sometimes soldiers from nearby units will run into him in the elevator.
One day, as the elevator went down and the door opened, {the soldier} stepped in and saw that Rain was also riding in the elevator. Nobody in the elevator said anything, but Rain greeted him first and said hello. {At a loss for words}, he said, “It must be difficult for you recently.” (Note: he was probably referring to the fallout from the news about Rain and Kim Tae Hee then.) Rain just smiled.
The soldier said when he saw Rain live in front of him, and seeing Rain’s broad shoulder and his pose, he just trembled and couldn’t {get out} a single word. He also said {wrote} all the soldiers in nearby units knew that Rain has been {falsely accused, treated wrongly/unfairly}.
Finally, he added that Rain is indeed different from others. There were other entertainment soldiers next to him, but all people could see is Rain. That’s perhaps the so-called “Rain’s presence.”

Lets not bring up the vacation day situation, its all water under the bridge for me. Im just focusing on July 10 when Rain is discharged. Rain is a standup professsional guy on stage and off and Im sure hes not thinking about that anymore. Hes planning on getting honorably discharged and doing concerts in Asia and hopefully in Vegas and then to Hollywood. Stephe and Terri, please push for Rain to come to Vegas. Love u Rain.

Nae, I was pretty sure they exaggerated their claims of Rain to put him in the spotlight, that’s very inconsiderate… Just love him for who he is people, don’t hate, just participate! ^.^

If I’m not mistaken, I think this individual is referring to Rain’s recent controversies regarding the military, etc. and all the Extra attention that was focused on him. At least that what it looks like to me.

Absolutely, yes. He was made a scapegoat in order to appease the netizens, because of who he is. His troop mates all over the military would feel bad for him because they’re doing the same thing — seeing and talking to their girls on the sly and running around with their hats off outside because it wasn’t a punishable offense — but they don’t have paparazzi lurking around trying to catch them and their name isn’t Rain.
Soldiers know the real score. They know he was railroaded and publicly punished because of netizen haterade. They also know who among them have taken MANY more vacation days than he has, and how he takes it in stride and says nothing. How he completes all the same duties they do, and entertains them on top of that. Here he is, this huge star known all over the world, the very epitome of entertainment royalty, and he considers himself just one of them. One of the guys, down in the trenches. That means more than gold to those men, that he’s just… normal, and that he sees them as the special ones.
If you don’t like Rain, dear netizens, you don’t like Rain. Fine. Who cares. That’s your right. But don’t just hate on the guy for the hell of it because it makes your day brighter. Don’t treat ANYONE like that. Ignore him and get a life.

OK I see what she means and I agree but trying to reason with these netizens, I find, is a fruitless waste of time,. Maybe they might listen to these soldiers if lots of them speak loud about how they feel about this.
