R2B: Return to Base has touched down on tarmacs in South Korea, the U.S. and Canada, and is on its way around the world. It has premiered in Vietnam and Thailand; now Hong Kong and Singapore are set for October, and Malaysia is set for November. Japan is set for December. Let’s see where else this bird is going to land!

SONG OF THE WEEK: “Escaping The Sun (Taeyangeul Pihaneun Bangbeop) 태양을 피하는 방법”, on Rain’s second album, Rain2: How To Avoid The Sun (2003), the album where he became known not only as 비, but as “Rain” as well. This was the project where Rain began marketing himself by the English meaning of his name. And this song was the third Rain song I’d ever heard (in 2006, after “Na” and “It’s Raining.”) All I can say is that it was like a drug. If I didn’t listen to “Escaping the Sun” at least once a day, I’d get severely bent out of shape. And it eventually ended up becoming the theme song for my first dark paranormal character, a guy who could no longer exist in sunlight and had lost the woman he loved a century before (no, he’s not a vampire, I don’t do vampires, they are OVERDONE).

Ugh this people are awful!! >.< We know JiHoon is working so hard and these people still try to tarnish his reputation! I hope the military speak their side of the matter cuz this kind of news aren't good for their image either. Besides, is their fault that JiHoon is in DEMA cuz he wanted to stay as instructor and they changed him. I hope they don't use this as an excuse to extend his military service! 😦

Yep they’re Top and G Dragon. That pict. is unusual cuz Top never take his shirt off, he was a little on the shubby side when he was young so his mental image of himself is still insecure. I read somewhere that GD was doing weights for his new video so maybe Top did some as well and now they’re showing the results. I don’t know! To tell you the truth, I’m getting used to see this kind of picts. between korean male idols. I guess being together all the time, all men creates this kind of intimacy, like brothers in the same house, of course to us is a bit extreme but to them is normal I guess. Of course not!! Imagine what my macho-men latinos would say about this! Lol!!! But it really is a cultural thing going on behind this, they like to play with gender and it goes both ways; girls like to dress/act like boys and boys like to dress/act like girls. Also, parents sometimes dress boys like girls and girls like boys. It’s weird to us but to them it seems ordinary. I try to take it as brotherly affection but sometimes I have my doubts too. 🙂

Why was I excited this weekend while visiting some friends in Houston? Well, they had Xfinity cable (by Comcast) and Mnet America is channel 241………oohwee! I have watched multiple K-Pop programs and enjoyed every moment! I even started watching two K-dramas: Hero and Queen and I—–I am going to continue them on Dramafever/Hulu or wherever I find ’em………….gotta call AT&T ’cause U-verse needs this channel

Awww I love this song! JiHoon puts so much passion in it and in everything he do that you can almost touch it thru the screen! His heart, his pain, all you can feel it thru his voice and body. Just amazing! Love these picts too. He looks so darn sexy and THE HAIR is perfect. Sighhh 🙂

Hi, Jwoods. Yes, unfortunately it is too late. RAINY Entertainment is at the phase now where they’re collecting payments and shipping out the DVDs for the names/pre-orders they have on record from late September — early October. As far as we know, with it being a limited edition, the producer only made enough to cover those orders.
I’m sorry I couldn’t give you better news.
