Rain fans in the U.S. and Canada, rejoice!
Earlier this month, online Asian drama haven DramaFever added a fourth Rain K-Drama to its already jam-packed lineup: SangDoo! Let’s Go To School (2003), Rain’s first starring role and the major project that really kicked things off for him in TV land.
Melodrama SangDoo joins action drama The Fugitive: Plan B (2010), romantic comedy Full House (2004), and revenge melodrama A Love To Kill (2005), which were added to the site some time ago. U.S. and Canadian fans, your mission, should you accept it, is not only to enjoy standing in the rain over on DramaFever, but to rate and review these dramas so that the DF folks have feedback and appreciation for their hard work. Let them know how much you enjoy Rain so that they’ll find even more.

I’ve seen Full House, A Love to Kill, Sang Doo and Fugitive Plan B (all four)….SEVERAL times. If there are others let me know, because I will be up on that thing like skin on a grape!

Rain’s first television foray was in a little sitcom called “Orange.” There are a few episodes still around online, but not very many. But they are really cute if you can find them.
Since this was his first acting job, don’t expect an Oscar-winning performance from him, but he’s still cute as heck. :-}
And don’t forget the Banjun drama shorts. There’s a page for those somewhere over here on the blog.

That’s great!! I hope many people get to see this wonderful drama. JiHoon’s acting skills in Sang Doo are great! It was his first drama and his character was a single father with a sick child, not easy to do when you don’t have a child of your own but he did an amazing job! I have all his dramas, his movies except I’m a robot and some other stuff but not all his music cuz they are difficult to find. My favorite drama is A love to kill cuz his acting is full of layers, his character is very complicated, dark but at the same time sublime and beautiful. A masterpiece of acting skills! Besides, is the one drama were he can really develop a close relationship with the woman he loves. 😀

There is one more korean drama out there that Jihoon did The I am a roboit but it’s oky.

It was actually a Korean movie, not a TV drama. In English, the movie is called “I’m a Cyborg, but That’s Okay.” The movie is actually on Netflix’s Instant Play line-up now. We were very excited to see that.
