By now, if you are a blue 8th Cloud (paid-up member, Korean or Global) of Rain’s official Cloud Fan Club (in Korea), you should have seen the notice and instructions released by the Executive Board last week and re-registered/reconfirmed your mailing address for the Rain membership souvenirs delivery that will be happening this month. Some Cloud subgroups—Japan, China, Hong Kong, and others—will have their goods mass-delivered by their specific Cloudmaster, but when it comes to us World/Global Clouds, they are depending on individual postal delivery, and with the last address confirmation having been so long ago, they simply don’t want to screw up anyone getting their stuff.

The member confirmation lists that have been posted are quite amazing to look at, and very historical! Because of The Cloud making a real effort to open their doors to Global sisters this term, the rosters are wonderfully diverse, a terrific confirmation of Rain’s world star title.

In addition to Korea, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Viet Nam, the countries of Argentina, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Peru, Puerto Rico, United Arab Emirates, the U.S.A., Chile, and Mexico are all represented in Rain’s official fan numbers so far, and I couldn’t be more proud. Very befitting a World Star. And the English Talk board is just as active now as all the other language boards. I am loving it! Way to go, Clouds! Way to go, JiHoon. 😀

A few days ago, Cuckoo (NY) was kind enough to condense the Rain membership goods delivery schedule down and post it on the English Talk board:

Below is the English translation copied from original notice, I modified a little bit:

[The estimated schedule for Cloud8th souvenirs – below date are based on Korean time]

1. 11/29(Tue)~12/1(Thu) : Cloud members – Register mailing addresses.

2. 12/2(Fri)~ 12/3(Sat) : The 8th term Cloud executive board – Checking both the 8h term Cloud membership list and the registered addresses.

3. 12/4(Sun)~ 12/6(Tue) : Cloud members – The list of those who don’t register their addresses, will be put up, and then those members left off of the list, will register their addresses. [per my understanding, it means those who didn’t register on 11/29~12/1, their names will be posted. And those who have already registered but no on the listing, will have chances to register]

4. 12/7(Wed)~ 12/9(Fri) : The executive board – The verification of registered addresses will be completed.

5. 12/10(Sat) : The executive board – The quantity of the completed T shirts will be checked, and faulty goods will be checked by using the random sampling method.

6. 12/12(Mon)~12/13(Tue) : Shipping company – wrapping and shipping.

Above schedule is subject to be changed.

****PLEASE NOTE: As we understand it, if you are blue 8th Cloud and you haven’t re-registered your mailing address in the new form for the delivery of your membership goods, a list is going to be posted of those members they are lacking, and at that point you need to do so immediately. The time frame for that is Sunday, 12/4 through Tuesday, 12/6 Korean time (now). Please be ready to act when you see that notice go up. More than likely, it will be in the private Cloud-Filled Room (구름 가득한 방).

FYI: Most notices from the executive board (Pink clouds) posted in the Cloud-Filled Room are also translated into Japanese, Chinese, and English because they concern the whole membership.  So don’t forget to scroll all the way down past the original Korean notice to see if there is anything in English.

TIPS: Marisara, I noticed that you’re highlighted in yellow [#308] on List #1, and as I understand it, that means that somehow they didn’t get your Cloud ID in the form, just your name. It happened with several members, looks like. All you need to do is just go to the List #1 link above and leave your Cloud ID and name in the comments under that thread, because they need both.

I also noticed that a few CloudUSAers (Diane? Katie? anyone else?) weren’t on either list, so you ladies please make sure you check for the next address registration notice in the Cloud-Filled Room and fill out your form (it’s really simple, nothing complicated) so that you get your membership goods.

Matter of fact, everyone—do make it a habit to take a few seconds and check the fan site on a regular basis for 8th Cloud stuff.  We don’t put every 8th Cloud notice or all executive board business here on Cloud USA because frankly, some of it is sensitive information meant for the membership only and not for everybody hither and yon across the world.

A Final Word:

As we understand it, there are around 5300 of us 8th Clouds total, and our membership T-shirts, membership cards, and four types of souvenir Rain post cards are being produced by the manufacturing company and paid for out of the Cloud treasury as we speak. And we’ve heard tell that maybe, when JiHoon finishes his military duty, we just might see him in the same T-shirt we’re all wearing, at his first fan meetings back as RAIN. Wouldn’t that just be amazing? 😀
