Please keep spreading the word so that the Yellow Ribbon for Rain Brigade continues to grow and grow. Let’s see how many ribbons he’ll have when he gets out of boot camp. Let’s surprise him!

JiHoon has already written his Clouds a letter on his Army unit’s blogsite! You can see his first letter to everyone HERE, in our previous post. ♥

For information on where to write JiHoon, please go HERE, and also HERE.

Well, dear fans, the Man has been the property of the ROK military for exactly one month now, and he’s already made amazing strides and gained a ton of respect from soldier and civilian alike. In the space of four weeks, he’s nailed down titles of top recruit in his barracks in the Key Unit, and Squadron leader, and First Class marksman. And now, in addition to that, JiHoon will be receiving a distinguished ATO (Assistant Training Officer) position when he finishes his own training in boot camp, which will suit a big brother/mentor like him perfectly. He has so much to give to the younger set, as well as the heart and energy to do it, being in fantastic shape and still young himself.

We always felt that there was a Greater Picture involved when it came to JiHoon having to enlist. That someone somewhere really needed him, because things always happen for a reason. And so now we see that while the Man is living real life and improving himself in the living of that life, he’ll also continue doing what he was put on this earth to do—give encouragement, motivation, inspiration, and the benefit of his own experience and transferable skills to those who need a hand.

Bravo, JiHoon. We’re behind you all the way!

Rain is Eternal. Where clouds stay gathered, rain will always come. It is inevitable.

  1. Since Adidas is still quite popular today, Darryl Mac (DMC of Run DMC) talks about the impact of their song “My Adidas” 25 years later.
    Cool!

  2. *SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT*

Went to see The Immortals this weekend. I don’t want to really spoil it for anybody planning to see it, but I will say a couple things. If you like Greek mythology, if you liked “300” and if you want to see special effects in 3D (Ninja Assassin style) on the big screen, then go see The Immortals. All in all is wasn’t a bad movie, but story wise I preferred 300 much better. There was some “Ummph” missing for me. I’ll say Henry Cahill was hella fine though (no complaints there). SMILES

  3. I ate Kimchi today!!!!!!! kekekeke It was good!! I also ate bimbag. Today my hubbie and I went to that new Korean restaurant called Tako I mentioned before. The owner was really nice and he mentioned that he’s planning to put up a plasma so his kpop fans can see shows, concerts, etc. in his restaurant. Isn’t that nice? Aww he was really cool. The food was a bit spicy but not so bad as some spicy food I tasted before in mexican, arabian or indian food. While I was eating, I ask to some young women if they were from Kimchi Criollo, the puertorrican kpop site I joined recently. They say yes and we talk about kpop, dramas etc. Then one of the women told me that she is taking Korean clases with some friends. They found a korean teacher and started to take clases with her. Sooo tomorrow I’m planning to take my first Korean class!! I’m very happy!! Let’s see if I can learn some hangul. ^.^

    • Hi, yely. 🙂 How are you?

I’m not sure where the first one was taken… I found it floating around all by its lonesome on the Internet and I took it and blew it up a bit. The website it came from was defunct, but from the looks of it, I imagine it was from a project sometime around 2003.

The second one is from when JiHoon was modeling for ZioZia’s 2003 spring/summer collection.
